    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

The point was it’s a fact we finished top 6. Where we finish next season is a hypothetical. The club aren’t going to market boxes saying “well we overachieved last season and are probably a midtable team.”

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

Ok, how much did the boxes bring in and what was that as a percentage of season ticket sales then?

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

Is it ridiculous? Big businesses have things like this as a perk or to entertain clients. Would the corporate clientele at most championship clubs be mainly local SMEs?

In and ideal world I agree but when we desperately need to increase revenue to stem losses and the disparity with other clubs was so high you can understand they probably can’t wait 2 seasons and try and placate every existing customer.

Old pricing scheme would have been sub 5% of season ticket revenue, although I’m using rough numbers.

20 boxes at £25k each is half a mil. Less then 10% of season ticket revenue I reckon, although that’s without drinks purchases etc.

Yeah great way of maintaining stagnant revenue.

I’m not sure JLR would be interested these days. Funnily enough raising prices and going for a different market. Farmers are furious they weren’t consulted and can’t replace their old Land Rovers.

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

What percentage of the customer base are affected? What percentage of those will still have a relationship with the club, just it through buying a corporate box? I get it, it’s personally inconvenient for you, but the reaction on this thread is odd. They are clearly aiming at a higher market...

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

There are many ways of building customer relations and gauging pricing levels and phoning round customers doesn’t seem a good method to achieve either.

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

The target audience is not local businesses, it’s whoever will pay the asking price. The whole discussion is dissatisfaction of the pricing. A number of people have referenced that they are a local business or have been a supporter for years. The clear implication there is that the club owe...

They’re losing out by not maximising revenue from them too though. Time will tell if the chosen price point pays off.

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

Irrelevant if the target audience is not the same, which it seems it clearly isn’t. The club can have a relationship with local corporates through various avenues. They don’t owe everyone a box at league 2 prices.

    Corporate Season tickets/Executive boxes

I love this notion that the club should be ringing around to consult with customers and asking if they can put their prices up. It’s so quaint.

    I think that’s probably fair

If they sell out, based on the numbers quoted, I make that about £5k a week on the wage bill. Not bad.

In fairness people are pointing out simple points to people hysterically complaining about every detail. It doesn’t seem fair to call it a love in.

I love the top benefit. Do people in the street come and congratulate you?

I’m struggling to understand where people find the energy to be angry about corporate box pricing tbh.
