I was unable to watch for numerous reasons but would love to hear what people thought.

Interesting to see that table from last season with us, Boro, Sunderland and Luton all next to each other in 12th to 15th position. The only position that matters is the one after 46 games. Plenty of time yet.

I wouldn't think he would be a filler player for development though. He's a current full Japan national team player, although has only recently broken through. How many of our current squad do you think could get into the Japan national team? Apart from the obvious . . .

Will be watching at Pickwick's Pub in Geneva in Switzerland. Would love to be going but my band has a gig in the same pub after the match (and will play twist and shout!). The only games I went to this season were Blackpool and Norwich at home, so it is probably just as well I won't be there . . .

Agree with Fernando partridge. Sheaf suffers without Hamer next to him so am still expecting Hamer and Sheaf in the middle. Also Bidwell in for Maatsen and Rose back too.

I noticed there was a big fuss about Robbie Savage's son coming on the other night to play for Man Utd. I am struggling to remember the game, but near the end of his career didn't Robbie Savage spend a big chunk of a game against us trying to get a 17 year old player playing their debut for us...
