Fair point. I just don't know what the term "poverty" really means these days. I'm an old fart from old fart stock! My great grandfather was killed by a sniper 2 weeks before the end of WW1. My great grandma was left to bring up 6 small children on her own before any sign of a welfare state...

Not disputing the numbers, but this means that 30% live in poverty. Seems pretty high to me unless poverty means not having an iphone or a Play Station.

Always been a bit of a beef of mine. On the little country roads around me in Oxfordshire, there's lots of Sunday rider groups all in their skimpy lycra. Often a dozen plus, but they ride in single file so there's never enough sighted road in front to overtake.
