Exactly this. I assume we have no more left for wages so seems a moot discussion.
If we can get rid of anyone, and I think we’ll struggle to get rid of any of the players we don’t want, then our priority should probably be an experienced back up keeper.
Was listening to this as I walked to work this morning! Kept waiting for them to mention us and was pleasantly surprised with how well they spoke about us.
On a related note does anyone have a standout football podcast they would recommend? Looks like a few rate this one. I used to enjoy the...
I’ve always wondered this. It might be partly how he is playing but also the team. Doesn’t seem to utilise his pace at all and focuses on him being a target man which I don’t think he is that good at, although might be better now he looks stronger.
I remember Gunnar coming on in a friendly at the Ricoh the pre-season he signed. A rough diamond but my god you could see there was a player there. Ever since then new signings and preseason friendlies felt a lore more exciting.
I haven’t but I would be tempted instead of PS5 also. Unfortunately I spent a grand on a reasonable desktop at the start of lockdown. It’s a decent PC but way off a decent gaming spec. I wasn’t really thinking of gaming at the time just needed a PC for other things. Now I wished I had gone all...

Oddly it seems to generally be the ones you’d expect to have worked out that didn’t and the rough diamonds that did. Maybe a lesson to not worry about signing established players.
Both Marosi and Wilson are good shouts as at first it sounded like they would be in tight competition for No1 spot.
I had forgot Ogogo. Looked like a player in that first game but then that was probably his best game!
And to answer the original question.
Overall - Kelly
Honourable mentions, McNulty for goals, O’Hare for potential ability, Dabs for current ability, Hyam for consistency, McCallum for good business.
Out of them all who surprised you, as in did they perform above or below expectations?
Above - McCallum - I remember MR raving about him but the first couple of times I saw him he looked to not have a good touch (maybe he was nervous). One thing that was obvious early on was he would see the...
I went a few years without playing FM and the leap was huge. I mainly play the touch version on Nintendo switch. It’s simpler and easier to pick up for a short time and can play it while the other half is watching trash TV.
I have just started dabbling with last years version on PC which I got...
