Tom Davies contract extension. Yes or No ?

Think he'll stay and be first choice next season, at least to start with. Reckon Willis is definitely off

    Luke Thomas

Exactly what I was going to say, need the wingers to cut inside to not leave the CF isolated. You can then have your full backs overlapping to provide the width if needed. Wingers getting crosses in from the byline is a bit outdated and tends to only work in a rigid 4-4-2, which not many teams...

    Player of the Season Vote

Do they still do the player's player award? That one's always interesting

    Goal margins/Goalscoring

Yeah - I can't remember an instance of us hauling down a player on halfway to stop a counter and taking a yellow for the team, but seems to happen all the bloody time against us!

    Goal margins/Goalscoring

I think Willis has only had 5 yellows in his entire career or something daft like that

Pointless giving Grimmer a start as he's all but confirmed to be leaving

    Hiwula on target

No idea. Nothing was said at the time of the deal but then again, it was the same for Davies and then revealed later that we have an option. I’d hope we’ve done the same with Hiwula

No, didn't see him there. I agree I haven't seen much either, though in fairness he's hardly played. By my calculations he's only managed 45 mins of pitch time, would prefer to see more of him before making a judgment

    Bright Enobakhare

Highly doubt he will re-sign here sadly. My friends dad (well-known coach/no.2) is doing some scouting for WBA at the moment and was at the Bradford game watching him, so he's on the radar of Champ clubs already, as you'd probably expect.

Liam Kelly - First name on the teamsheet

Agree with that as well. They seem to complement eachother well as Shipley seems more positionally aware in that role than Bayliss. As others have said, Bayliss in the Bright role next season would be interesting to see

Liam Kelly - First name on the teamsheet

Yep agree, he was superb. His ball retention and speed of thought to play 1 touch passes to keep us moving is very, very good. He waned a little after the clash of heads, to be expected really. As a side note I thought Shipley was fantastic alongside him in the first half.

Robins said it looked like Davies had cramp or some sort of issue so put Willis on for a bit of extra pace.

I'd maybe give Wakefield a start over Thomas (assuming we're mathematically out of the playoff race) and would assume Willis will be back in for Davies after the strange substitution yesterday. Otherwise I wouldn't change too much, think everyone in the side deserves to keep their places.

Out of contract in the summer

I would keep Burge, plus I doubt we can afford anyone that much better to actually justify any additional outlay in wages or a small transfer fee. Stockdale for example is way out of our price range. I'd be very surprised if we kept both Davies and Willis, the Rose signing says as much.

Out of contract in the summer

Keep Willis and Burge. I suspect Davies will go in search of more game time, especially if we can hold onto Willis. Rose signing in the summer and we already have options with Williams, Thompson and Drysdale in the U23s.
