Exactly - so why not play Willis next to him who actually has a bit of pace to drop and cover him? Nah it's cool we'll play him RB cause he bombs forward like Cafu

Yep completely agree, so many players likely to be leaving in the summer with a ton contracts undoubtedly not being renewed and loans expiring. Will be yet another change the entire squad job and need to give the new bloke some time to see the current dross in action, get a feel for the club etc...

    Nathan Clarke

Only seen Clarke once vs Wimbledon away and thought he was good there, but prone to the odd fuck up as most League 1 defenders are. Shocking defending for those Bury goals though, that non-tackle is ridiculous. Whoever comes in for League 2 next year HAS to sort the back 4 out.

    The Worst of the Worst

As my username suggests, it would be churlish of me to opt for anyone other than the great Dimi Konstantopoulos - though seems he's gone on to forge a reasonable enough career post-City.

I would consider Willis in for Turnbull maybe as well.

Looks like same set-up as AFC game except Haynes in for that useless twat Rawson. Foley holding role

Shocker of a decision. He was at least a yard onside! Slade and all the fans inline with it were furious

That was only after the game opened up in the 2nd half. First hour there was fuck all space for either team to play and the pitch was shocking. Jones wouldn't have been as effective had he started.

He was vocal, especially 2nd half. Didn't use the ball as well as I'd have expected though so as you say, not a huge difference from Bigi other than having more experience.

Burge 6 - Reasonable handling except for one awful spillage in the first half which he was lucky to get away with. Few routine saves. Kicking seemed ok. DKE 7 - Battled so well for a guy his size and wins more than his fair share aerially. Their left winger Barcham didn't get much change out of...

Shocking standard of football. Clarke solid so far and being very vocal and leading the back 4. DKE also putting in a good shift. Rawson and Turnbull have been pretty poor. We looked short of confidence from the off, defending like it's the last 10 mins of the Wycombe game from the first...

Yeah it's the closest, just nothing around there in terms of pubs is what I meant by 'middle of nowhere'

Norbiton is in the middle of nowhere really – I’d either get off at New Malden (there are pubs around there) or get a drink at the ground maybe.

    Yakubu songs

To the tune of the Christian Eriksen chant Spurs have (loosely based on Agadoo): Yaaaa-kuuuu-bu-bu-bu, He’s our number 22, Yaku-bu-bu-bu, Gonna join us in League 2, To the left to the right, He’s the City’s dynamite, When he plays up front for us, He makes Tudgay look shiiiiite

My 2nd game of the season after the Charlton debacle, easy trip after work. It will be this I reckon. We don't really have any strikers fit enough (G Thomas aside) to last 90 at the moment. Keep it tight (lol) for an hour and then introduce Folivi / Kwame as fresh legs up top. Reckon he may well...

    Yakubu

Quite a few similarities with the John Hartson signing back in ’01… desperation to solve a shortage of goals by signing a striker with fitness issues in February, probably ending up with the same result of relegation.
