Agree with the first paragraph. Re the second, of course preferable to go up then not, but would love us to aim at a Brentford/Brighton rather then a Southampton/Norwich.
I’m still not convinced we are personally. Midfield still needs improvement as does the defence. Also regardless of top 6, we really want to be asking ourselves if this team could even be competitive in the PL. I wouldn’t want to watch that at this stage.
Still consider Oxford away as one of the lowest points in my Coventry history. Slade managing. Think we were 3-0 after 15 mins. Our fans chanting ‘this is embarrassing’.
People forget that it was half full in our championship days and it was just as toxic. I always prefer grounds within streets, but I do think nostalgia has made people forget the good days at the CBS and the bad at HR.
Wish the guy the best. Not devastated he’s gone, but worth noting he held us together in a rocky patch. This really allows Lampard to stamp his mark now. No pun intended….actually pun intended.
not an original thought, but this sell-on must have a huge impact on our transfer plans in the summer. Feels like Doug is banking big on it, so will be significant for us if he is injured.
I know everyone will say bogey teams are rubbish and I probably agree, but regardless, it is funny how a trend can develop against a team over a significant number of years.
