    Relegation Battle?

Agree. It was the same when Sheaf was out. I don’t understand why people are so convinced by this team with the position we’re in?

    Relegation Battle?

There’s also a difference between relegation and a battle. I just don’t understand how people do not think we’re in the latter.

Anybody heard Frank’s post match interview??

    Relegation Battle?

I would really look at our run-in. We really haven’t taken advantage of some easy games.

Is this sarcasm? If not, I admire your optimism!

    Relegation Battle?

It’s madness thinking we’re in a relegation battle? Six points off and in January??

    Relegation Battle?

I’m not convinced that spending money (if it is there) will automatically solve the problem. Spending in January is always risky and loses a sober approach to the transfer market. We might be fine, but I think it ‘a going to be close hence a battle.

But my complaint isn’t the promise of top 6, it’s the change of logic from a broad sample to make a judgement of the club’s progress.

    We look poor

Agree with this. Feed optimistic that a few buys and sales in January will solve the problem too.

    Relegation Battle?

Will seem like a rash thread after the loss, but is there anybody who thinks we won’t be in a relegation battle? Our run-in in March and April is seriously tough. If we don't start picking up results, King may well get his worse nightmare.

That might be true, but what frustrates me was the change from the 3 out of 5 seasons in the play offs logic. Seemed so much more reasonable and sober. The change to the rash ‘this season top 6’ logic just felt so hasty.

    Asante

My dad thought it was really odd that WBA would sell their top goal scorer. We can now see why they were happy for him to go.

I stand by what I said previously. Doug King’s assumption that this is a top 6 team has made me lose all faith in him. That logic has caused a ripple effect that has really left us directionless. We have to hope to survive this season and then begin a three year re-build based on our current...

Anybody else just want it to be May?

Stand by that this team will get dragged into a relegation battle. It will be a really tough end to the season.

I will hold you to that. I think the second half of the season is going to be really hard work.

Anybody else just want it to be May?

My worry is that the players will start to think similarly and will sleep walk into a relegation battle

    Our progress

I’m actually really worried about our position considering the teams we have played. People will say it’s negative, but with a hard run of games I’m sure we’ll be in a relegation scrap.
