As well as having signed a 5 year deal recently, he's also not especially good. Yes he's got pace but he's completely one dimensional and doesn't appear to be an intelligent player that will develop. I really don't think we missed him at all. League 1 is his level in my view.

Agree with this 100%. Marosi only made a couple of errors all last season too. Wilson had overtaken Marosi's number of errors for Cov after about 8 games.

I'll take you word on that. Marosi doesn't gift nearly as many goals though. I know who I'd rather have in goal.

I really don't know how Wilson is staying in ahead of Marosi. He's made at least double the amount of errors. Ultimately neither are probably good enough. Should go for the L1 GK of the season as our number 1 next year.

The comparisons with Dele Alli earlier in this thread are funny. Now I reckon you'd find Maddison is worth double Dele Alli.

O'Hare for me. Gone from not guaranteed a start in L1 to indispensable in the Championship. Improved his output significantly.

Yeah it's madness that it's still going ahead - if I was an overseas player I'd be on the first flight home. Truly horrendous scenes over there. Very very scary.

I would prefer us to operate within our means. Having overspent in the past (we still haven't recovered fully from that) and seeing the clubs around us doing the same now it is terrifying to think what might have been/could be. I would rather try and compete on a shoestring than risk our future.
