    The official NFL Thread

it will be interesting to see if the year out has done him good to get healthy as he was struggling with injuries before he retired, or if he comes back and has completely lost. it seems the contract is a pretty safe one in the raiders favour so its worth the gamble and lynch gets to play for...

    Letters from Mark Robins

Just out of curiosity does anyone know how season ticket sales have gone so far in terms of numbers? I assume its pretty bad but I haven't heard anything from the club (they would usually update via twitter etc.) and I don't know anyone who has got one yet.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

A random bloke posting a rumour on a fan forum saying something might happen this week is hardly a leaking info. A person revealing financial details and that they have been rejected in a local news paper before it's even been confirmed by either party is leaking info.

Rumour: Hoffman and Elliot takeover negotiations

Well nothing seems confidential if the club are constantly leaking all the info to les Reid and the coventry observer. What's the point of Hoffman keeping it confidential, if he knows they will leak it hours later, he may aswell be open and honest from his side.

Open letter from the club to fans

Have the season ticket sales been that bad so far, it's resulted in a half hearted apology from a unknown source other than "the owner/owners"

The huffington posts obsession with white men

There has been a massive push on this ideology in the last year or so, there was a advert on mtv a few months back called dear white guys. Same as the black lives matter and feminist movements, all blaming white men, not sure what the agenda is but there is a clear push to demonize white men in...

    Season ticket prices 17/18 season

Another thing is the early bird finishes on 31st May, so you will have no idea how the team will be looking. If it was end of June beginning of July atleast you have some idea of how the team is going to look.

    Season ticket prices 17/18 season

Mine has gone up, now premium zone. I'm sorry but £345 for early bird is ridiculous for league 2 football. Sorry but I'm done.

    Cov on Talksport now

you came across well, when you listen to talk sport drive, Durham thrives on anyone who calls up and takes the bait as it sells. After yours and the other call his narrative on a complete boycott just didn't work and they had to ease off.

    Trains on Sunday

Trains are always over sold ask anyone who goes to and from London in rush hour. If Coventry or warwick parkway have any sense it will be organised and they will get you on a train, probably not the one you booked but defiantly get you on eventually, but no doubt it wont be organised and it will...

    Cov on Talksport now

Lets face it he says anything to get a reaction and people call in, I doubt he even believe some of the stuff he says and im sure he contradicts himself over time. To be fair when the 2 cov fans called in they both made their point clear with reasoning and neither got into the slanging match he...

    Beers for Wembley

    March from the Green man.

Not at all just making the point it's pointless and a waste of time, no idea why anyone thinks having a walk from a pub to the stadium is a protest, or it will achieve anything. Just enjoy the day stick protest to one side.

    March from the Green man.

well I was going to have a drink at the green man before the game, I might avoid going there now. what's the point having a protest walk on a cup final day, I can really see sisu deciding to sell the club because a bunch of blokes on the piss walked from a pub to a stadium, top idea.

EFL Trophy final- our potential as a club

Comparing what we used to get in the premier league to what we could get being a championship/premiership team in the future are completely different. All attendances were lower in the 90s. The premier league is a lot bigger now its a global brand, Southampton, derby, Leicester who are similar...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

but again what has the far right got to do with brexit? voting to leave does not make anyone far right or support anything the far right believes in. To put the 2 together is just wrong, a tactic people use to try and discredit anyone that believes that the EU doesn't work for this country as...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Of course im not saying there are no far right leave voters, just like im sure there are lefties who voted leave, doesn't make them the populous or to label anyone else who believes leaving the EU has far right opinions like wilders in Holland. That's the thing I don't see things as black and...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

just more labelling, anyone who voted leave must be far right, and want whole of Europe to break up. Its the EU that wants to control Europe and all its members not people who voted to leave, they want the opposite.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

To be honest I think there is a big difference between what brexit voters wanted and Wilders in Holland, its a bit of a silly comparison. But if you think a far right party coming 2nd gaining 5 extra seats, to a centre right party is good for the left or the EU, then you are very misguided.
