What would our survival odds be if we went up?

Just wondering if Gus regrets signing for such a bad team. Surely he can't be happy.

    Callum contract offer

Anyone think he might want to go back to the Villa ?

This team will be better than the 22/23 team

Agreed. MR said we are on a journey. Most realize this, including the players, confirmed by Bobby Thomas in his post match interview yesterday. It is exiting. The players we bought in were not for a quick fix, but for development. Next season looks like we will be up there with the best.

Only a couple of weeks ago the bookies super prediction final table has us finishing 6th lol.

Be interesting to know what others think is our best 11/ formation - assume those injured are fit to choose from.

Blimey, I agree with you Grendel !

So, which are the best 11 then. You can't say who you want to exclude and not say who you would. You are suggesting MR should by now, know his best 11 yet it wouldn't include those you have excluded. The answer is, you don't know the best 11 in your opinion. Cheers, Grendel. Not arguing, just...

With Palmer, O'Hare and Tevares, Kelly out for months/ weeks, how can MR play his best 11 ?

Cast your mind back to the begining of last season's games when early on we lost 4 in a row and some were writing us off as rubbish and doomed.

How has Doug lied ? This is season one out of five. The players signed were bought for development, not for immediate impact. To expect us to replace Gus and Vic with better players is impossible. However, I respect your opinions.

Get a grip, this is a rebuilding season.

I agree, but in at least 4 games this season we could, and should have won. That would have put us in the play offs on 28 points. Referee decisions have gone against us, eg v Preston. Yesterday, Stoke have the best defence in the league over the last four games yet we still created chances. Only...

Get a grip, this is a rebuilding season.

You can't just throw a team of virtually new players and expect immediate results regardless of their value. This season is like other seasons since MR took over management where a rebuild was needed in the past. MR stressed this was a season of consolidation and it would take time. The only...

    Last one standing ?

There is no predicament, this is just panic by supporters who can't see the bigger picture. I have experienced real predicaments BUT I stuck by the team no matter what.

    Last one standing ?

As an 81 years old and a supporter since 1952, does anyone else remember when we were relegated from the old Third Division South to the newly formed Division Four ( now Division 2).? Fortunately we were promoted the following season to the new Third Division ( now Division One)

    Ronnie Rees RIP

So sad, one of my ever favourite players passed away aged 79. Ronnie was a wizard on the wing. He died in a care home and I kept in touch with him via his daughter.
