Huffed and puffed but created almost nothing then conceded a soft goal. How many times have we said that over past couple of years?

Played really well in large parts but we failed again to take those opportunities, and in the end that cost us after they caught us cold after the Wilson handbags. Not frustrating just annoying tbh. Could have and should got something there.

It’s a good effort from a very fragile squad. Burnley will get absolutely battered next season

One piece of sloppiness. Otherwise solid performance. Why Robins didn't bring on Burroughs for Norton-Cuffy earlier is beyond me. On a yellow and clearly flagging. Rose stepped up today.

Since returning from the world cup break we have in all competitions we have
Played 8
Won 1
Drew 3
Lost 4

Lost Fadz and O'Hare to injury plus others. Been left with just 1 first team striker and 1 attacking midfielder.

It's been a disaster.

Chins up fellas, I for one was expecting a hammering after Wrexham. We had an emergency formation, a ref with a Burnley kit on underneath his black and yet had a great spell first half. You look at their bench and you look at ours, they were ALWAYS going to be able to bring on quality as our knackered players faded totally, and so it was. At least Doug knows we need more (as I am sure he did already).

On paper that's not too bad given the state of the squad and the off the pitch stuff. Most people were expecting a loss today, but having watched it we had our chances to win, which makes it even more frustrating to get nothing out of the game

We need bodies through the door asap as the squad is paper thin, it won't take long before we start picking up further injuries to the starting 11 if we dont rotate

If them cunts had of out played us, I'd take it but they were dog shit and we were gifted chances, could have won that 3+ to 0.

Did alright, better than expected. Once Vik fluffed his 1 on 1 you knew how it was gonna go.

New lad looks promising.

Dabo defended well and deserve a mention after recent criticism.

Nobody shocking, nobody brilliant.

Pissed off and proud at the same time. Should of taken a point from that. Vik didn’t even miss that one v one because he didn’t even get a shot away, shocking. Dabo laziness lost his man and he scored, piss poor from him.

apart from that, a great effort considering the bench we had from the rest of them.

Switch off once they score. They switch off half a dozen times and get away with it. Today isn't on the defence

Everyone expected a hammering before the game so why all the moaning now?? At a stretch we deserved a point but wasn’t to be. Onto the next one hopefully a stronger fuller squad

Less moaning more just disappointment. Harsh result really

What was the point in that for the World Cup? Just to go back to normal after
I assume that the directives in place for the WC weren't part of the league's at the start of the season and don't want to/can't change them mid -season

That’s what happens if you don’t take your chances. They inevitably wore us down and got the goal. Again a basic cross which our nieve defense can’t cope with and they score.

I didn't think so either, they did well.
They pretty much did what was asked on them. Allen twice in the first half, then Palmer, and then Gyo inexplicably not even shooting for a 1 v 1. A better side would have torn Burnley apart today.

Losing fair and square is one thing, but losing to a goal that shouldn’t have stood is another blow to the player’s confidence. If only, if only…
We need a striker, a goal scoring midfielder, a centre back and probably two more players for the bench at this rate. Simply has to be done, otherwise I’m not confident that we can even stabilise and finish mid table.

Some positives though, from today: Cuffy looks promising and we’re clearly creating chances, but there’s no end product. Allen can’t shoot for shit, Palmer wants too much time before taking a shot, and there’s Vik running his arse off with no support.

Hopefully, there’s a few signings in the pipeline next week. 🙏🏻
