A lot saying that Eccles was class based on nothing were the same ones saying Shippers etc weren't up to the level. He might still end up better, but needs a loan at L1 level. Certainly not ready yet and Howley I think similar but we don't have the squad depth or finances.

That back line is a very decent defence. Plus their top scorer (more than Gyo last season) is up front. One or two others - not exactly second string.

They're terrible at the back and have got a dreadful record

It also shows Hamer isn't the easiest to replace as he is our best player and we are so much weaker without him.
