2-1 Blackpool to top off a disappointing week.

Raining all night and throughout the morning -> wet surface = increased possibility of goalkeeper errors.

Not ideal with our current keeper situation.

Or........ better for Hamer's zingers. our rampaging midfielders and Gyok's mud wrestling.

Yea, I initially started a paragraph with ‘Conversely’ and was about to mention our shooting, but Hamers long range shots are rarely across the ground and our other midfielders don’t often shoot!

Gyokeres is Gyokeres, whatever the weather he’ll be a beast. But you’re right, his movement and twisting, turning away from defenders on a wet surface could leave a few on their arses!

Fingers crossed. Hoping a slightly soggier pitch might impede Mr Patino's silky skills too (get a few sliding tackles in on him and hope he doesn't fancy it as much!) I always find myself worrying about the opposition's better players and ironically, I'd completely ignored Barlaser from Rotherham (who I'd not taken any notice of this season, or how they'd accrued so many points)

Considering how free scoring this opposition is, need to make sure we don’t spurn chances at the other end.

Ohare & Kane both starting today

Could it be Eccles replacing Dabo and Kane in for Bidwell (if he's had a knock)?
or
Eccles rested (may have a knock) ?

Is Palmer being rested for O'Hare? Or even Allen ?

Lots of games, so need to utilise squad.

Think it’s too soon to be starting O’Hare personally. Hope this isn’t yet another case of MR rushing an injured player back too soon only for them to break down again and go missing for months (see Rose, Dabo, Godden, Kelly etc. etc.)

Bad feeling today but that's just the hangover. I predict goals, same score line as Rotherham or 3-2 either way. Gonna be positive and say to us based on nothing but blind optimism.

Hamer, Vik, late one from Palmer to finally get off the mark

I think if O’Hare starts it’ll be in place of Sheaf with Allen dropping deep. Palmer will then come in for Waghorn

Hoping there’s been a day of absolutely blistering training with Hamer, O’Hare, Palmer and Vik and Robins just had to pick them. Can see when they click it’ll be something special.

On paper COH starting is great news. In reality I’m not so sure - him getting injured would be terrible.

Would prefer him coming in at HT against a not so fresh defence and less time so he knows he hadn’t got to reserve energy.

It also isn’t a position we need to risk - we have two fit AM’s!

Happy path we finally see the front 5 we’ve all wanted and it’s a footballing masterclass.
