After we won the FA Cup in 87 I think the Scout might have said 'What about that guy Speedie at Chelsea? He's a nasty piece of work...'I wonder to what extent "Ability to spot a good shithouser' features on the person spec for the currently advertised Senior Scouting roles?
I would imagine we’ve probably played each other 17 times since the Premier league was formed in 1992, which according to Sky Sports and many others was the birth of football. We’ve surely played them more than 17 times. Seems very little.
I want 6 from the next 2. Anything more would be fantastic6 points out the next 3 matches would be a good return - anything more than that would be fantastic
I shan’t hold my breath as I’m convinced hell will freeze over before we beat Preston at DeepdaleI want 6 from the next 2. Anything more would be fantastic
With the way global warming is going that's probably realistic.I shan’t hold my breath as I’m convinced hell will freeze over before we beat Preston at Deepdale
It's a monkey we need to get off our backs NOW.I shan’t hold my breath as I’m convinced hell will freeze over before we beat Preston at Deepdale

Am I in trouble for saying that, is it offensive or unacceptable because I don't know what is or isn't ok to say anymore
Looking very promising - pretty much sold out to 23 and sales behind goal. Unlikely lots of on the gate tickets. You’d think 22-23000attendance prediction? how's it looking?
You sound pretty entitled if think we should definitely be winning on SaturdayView attachment 28490
From their manager right down to the fans they’re a proper entitled bunchthey’ll be foaming at the mouth come 3pm Saturday hopefully
His use of the word hopefully rules out your use of the word definitely. You sound pretty entitled of think we should definitely be winning on Saturday

Their prolific striker is injured and their own fans are admitting their performances are dropping due to fatigue. I expect a win, but it will be tight.Sunderland are a decent side who have adjusted to the Championship very well and have a prolific striker. If we win I will be more than happy.
And a quality manager that plays great attacking footy.Sunderland are a decent side who have adjusted to the Championship very well and have a prolific striker. If we win I will be more than happy.
Our own fans were saying they couldn't see where we get 5 more wins to avoid relegation from just 3 games agoTheir prolific striker is injured and their own fans are admitting their performances are dropping due to fatigue. I expect a win, but it will be tight.

30 is available , they would release 31 if sufficient demandWhy are blocks 30/31 unavailable to buy? Surely they aren’t sold out?
One is Social distancing block (31 iirc), but you can still sit there if you want !!Why are blocks 30/31 unavailable to buy? Surely they aren’t sold out?
What's our biggest home attendance this season? What ever it is we should exceed it imo, there is a buzz about which I haven't felt for a while.
Complete one trick ponyFucking hate Tony Mowbray.
I find him a likeable and respectful man and his teams are good to watch. He actually stood up and admitted he was failing with us and fell on his sword.Don't understand the hate for Mowbray. He is a bit old school and I can't see him doing a West Brom again. His only major error with us was thinking he could attract better players than we could afford and putting his mate in charge of recruitment. Has had a very solid managerial record and has always played attractive attacking football. Usually his second half slumps means he is not a top manager, but has done ok at every club he has been at. Middlesborough and Blackburn let him go because they did not get promoted. He jumped ship here because we were seriously underfunded and our best players left for clubs higher up the football ladder.
Completely disagree - He had no Plan B and should have took us up with that sideDon't understand the hate for Mowbray. He is a bit old school and I can't see him doing a West Brom again.
