And Mark Robins will leave him there.
Probably, I'd love to see him given a go though.

Surely it depends on the other options and the overall effect on the team. DCM might be a bit weaker if Hamer is moved forward, but ACM might be a lot weaker if he isn't.How many fit at the club are better than Hamer in his role more importantly? You don't displace your best player from his normal position
Go to one
With the injuries and lack of squad depth I’d take a point again tomorrow
Howley will be starting
...but he will be playing LWBSomebody else mentioned this, where is that from? Glad to hear it tbh would rather give a young lad a game in his position than play somebody out of position
This Allen is small, this one far away...I'd forgotten about recent signing Dougal Maguire - perhaps bring him on for his excellent vision and perspective
Finally we signed a big nameMAGUIRE
If all your wishes came true we’d end every season with 46 pointsWith the injuries and lack of squad depth I’d take a point again tomorrow
100% agree.Surely it depends on the other options and the overall effect on the team. DCM might be a bit weaker if Hamer is moved forward, but ACM might be a lot weaker if he isn't.
If we have players available that play DCM but not ACM, it makes sense to play them in that position and move Hamer forward, as he has the attributes necessary to make a go of it.
Like when we used to play young kids out of position to keep experienced pro's in their normal position. Doesn't make sense because you're creating a much bigger weakness in order to keep a strength.
Careful nowThis Allen is small, this one far away...
If you get him facing the dugouts he might hit the channels for Vik to run ontoWilson can kick the ball very far so thought he'd be a good fit in midfield

Howley has looked poor* every time he has made an appearance so far.Somebody else mentioned this, where is that from? Glad to hear it tbh would rather give a young lad a game in his position than play somebody out of position

*poor - nowhere near Championship standard.
And you’ve got to say 8 of those are first choice although they’ve played a lot of football recentlyI'm guessing from the whispers about Howley it's going to be a functional midfield in a 3-5-2 essentially. Play the ball into the channel for Vik to run onto, get the wingbacks up to support and tell Godden to be in the box whenever possible, with Hamer breaking forward when he can.
Wilson
McNally Fadz Doyle
BNC Howley Hamer Eccles Bidwell
Godden Vik
Will be difficult but looking forward to it, just having my brekkie before getting a coach ower't Pennines. If nothing else it should be a great atmosphere.
Just lay off the fizzy pop and chewits.Wilson
McNally Fadz Doyle
Nilsson Hamer Boateng Bidwell
Totti
Vik Yeboah
Subs: Oggy, Rose, Howley, Barry Quinn, Godden and if needed, Wise (he’s 50 odd but still got it).
Think my meds need adjusting, but that’s a cracking team.
Still got no idea what the team is going to be today, personally I would rather see Rus or Babaga in the 10 than play BNC or JWE out of position, but he won't. Howley could play with Hamer and Eccles in a more conventional 3 in the middle or maybe Borroughs. From what I can see Maguire has never played as a number 10 behind 2 strikers is an out and out forward who has predominantly played as a centre forward.
I would start Walker ahead of Godden, who for me looks better coming off the bench.
There is an argument for just going to 442, we probably just about have the players for it, but it's a massive ask to completely change your system within 3 days.
