Agreed, Gyok aside from Sunderland has started the season poorly and Godden offers little. Walker is decent in the air especially defending set pieces too.Is it really that bad? Surely if you play one up front it needs to be someone capable of holding it up. Not one of Walkers strengths!Lots of comments after Wednesdays defeat saying let’s go back to one up front and he does that, and everyone’s against it because of the selection.
Yes I agree Vik would be most peoples choice and mine, but who knows if he’s carrying a knock, knackered or something else, or maybe he’s seen something in training that made him feel Walker deserves the chance.
