I really not sure how they are doing so well tbh. They are not that great. Think we are better than them, but it won't be easy up there.
If we turn up (Hamer, Sheaf, Vik, O'Hare in particular) then we can get a good result.
I actually think they should be doing better - Their squad is better than Burnley for me, don’t think Heckingbottom will be there long after if they do go up

I have paused it for over an hour on a laptop.
The game usually shows up about 5:00pm here (midnight UK) regardless of start time.
If you don’t want to know the score cover the centre of your screen, hit “fixtures” “results”
Scroll to the game and hit (replay?)
Don’t scroll down during the game as game stats , current table, etc are all up to date.
And of course stay off here.

I think the Sky contract for highlights ends at midnight so that’s why it can’t be on before.

They're rattled it seems 😂

I have posted on there over the years trying to explain the protest that night. They still don't get it. Baffling when they won that night and were promoted. They abused me silly trying to explain.

Lots of comments on that thread about how we are a nothing club etc. Worth remembering they are a club who haven't won a trophy since 1925. Nineteen twenty five. Have only 25 years in the top flight since WW2. Only 6 years in the PL.

Reminds me of Sunderland. Good support but nothing in terms of honours. There's not a person alive who remembers their last trophy in 1925.

I like BL although the atmosphere on the last 4/5 visits was non-existent and Sheffield is a decent city.

They spent a mighty long time in the third tier too.

Sheffield U are in second place for a reason. Good team, better manager than last year. We were a bit lucky with the home win against them but matched them on the day. Can never understand all the endless insults particularly on their site. Lot of fans who have no interest in other clubs so chat uninformed shit. Some of them have learnt to spell beige and are so pleased with themselves. They have a full house and I think will perform on the day. If our first 11 is fully fit, we have a chance. That is our first 11 against West Brom, as we still have our best central defender and ex Sheffield boy out and a third choice RWB. We have lost 3 in 17. Burnley could have gone either way, Blackpool we had four fit players on the pitch, the rest had a bug and we nearly drew that one. Reading was a travesty, essentially daylight robbery. That said, we were lucky to win away at Watford. They should probably want us to win, as look what happened to Fulham when we played them off the park away last season. Our defence is stupidly young and could be our downfall but we have three players who are valued at big bucks with Sheaf not far behind. We have the leagues top scorer who rarely has a bad game (that's torn it) and when on form is unplayable. I think Sheffield have the edge because of our injuries and lack of subs. However, on our day we can beat anyone.

roy from the sufc forum

you lot are the most weirdest fans in the league, a mixture of piss stained old men and young tramps in some of the worst pony stoney i have ever seen. you are like wellesbourne market on tour

also why are their parts of your ground where the seats don't seem to face the pitch? also that stand to the right of the away end as you look at the pitch? it was like the cantina bar in their last year

anyway merry xmas and i hope uncle-dad can make it this year

Which seats don’t face the pitch?
Cantina bar…… is that singers corner? At least our home fans get behind the team usually led by those blocks, not like the library at BL. Greasy chip butty song twice a game and that’s it

The Sheffield United Forum is the angriest place in existence. Just full of seething blokes saying how much they don't care about Coventry but also saying how much they hate us and want us to fold.

Quite extraordinary.

I guess it all stems from being the smallest club in their own city I'd imagine.

Weird isn't it. That Roygbiv guy deliberately picks our posts which are then seen out of context sans sarcasm etc on their forum!

And I note not one of their hysterical 'they're tinpot/shite' posters mentions we did them 1-0 two months ago...

I’d take a draw here all day but we could surprise them.
On another note I can see ticket sales are already very good for the Cardiff match. Can’t help but think that £20 adult ticket price is driving a lot of that 👍

I can’t believe how worked up and angry Sheff United fans STILL are over Cov fans protesting in a match they won anyway

Currently deployed with two lads who are Sheff United fans. Desperate for a win just to shut them up! (Good lads - but still need the bragging rights.)

It baffles me. Probably because that Sheffield United fans got put down a block of stairs. Must have hurt watching that.

I must admit my disdain towards them has wilted slightly since that patronising bulldog-chewing a wasp face whinging bastard Wilder jacked in managing them - He has always had it in for us

Yep, I know a few going to this because of the price. Will be a big crowd if we get a result at SU.

The thread on there forum is totally obsessed with the hatred of a insignificant small shit house club with nothing going for it except being near Birmingham, 4 pages at last count about something that doesn't matter to them.
What a fucking joke bunch of inbred window lickers they are. They are so angry China makes more quality steel in two days than Sheffield has ever made, and the days of coming home from 't' pit or ' t' foundry via the pub to get pissed before slapping they're sister wife about and fingering the ferret has gone . Poor sad bastards almost as pathetic as slumberland.

I have a feeling the ill feeling from the 'protest' night owes a lot to that video taken from their end when a 15 year old from our end went and knocked down one of their lot who was giving it large. Their fans then did that thing where they get all worked up throwing their arms around threatening to charge over until faced by some invisible force that somehow stops them doing so. It made them look right muppets!

Again very like Sunderland, think they are huge for no good reason, if we are irrelevant both those clubs fall into the same category. Both hate us for no good reason, i never payed much attention to either but I guess you can manufacture a rivalry as due to their fans I can't stand either set of cunts.
Also they seem to get angrier and angrier as despite being an irrelevant small club, neither of those red and white inbred fuckwits can beat us anywhere near as much as they would like. Hope they are seething harder after the game.

But in this recent video, he's actually quite complimentary and expects us to be in the playoffs
