The point to the thread is not the boring obvious nature that this thread suggests.

My point is after doing some quick research I found out that after 11 games last season we had .... yes 10 points. This coming shortly after Bournemouth at the Ricoh which I was at and remember being a drab 1-0 win but they all count.

They generally say after 10-12 games you finish around where you are after 10-12 games and taking away the deduction that's 5th right now. Yes we are 16th but as every opposition managers says this is a false position obviously. Tough October left but still 7 months left after and obviously 10 point deduction last year hurt us for a possible play off chance could this year be different? (With 10 point deduction already being wiped off)

What a season this could be Liquidation with possible termination forever and losing opening day, Same bad owners and on-going disputes and failures and then we sneak a play off place and get promoted to the championship. WOW!!!!

P.S - I will wait for the Coventry should be in Coventry as before you type this yes you are right and always will be right about this please bear in mind this is A. a football thread discussion and B. I would support my City where ever we played I just wouldn't go like I don't go Sixfields but no-one can ever take the pleasure I get from us scoring or winning away from me sixfields or not.

After 10 games last year bournemouth had 8 points

They got automatic promotion so things could be even better

This is a poor league i would say in most peoples opinion past maybe 5 teams such as Wolves and Peterboro so yes why not?

I'm keeping calm on this. I realise the start has been very good but as Pressley said yesterday after the match, the aim is to avoid relegation. Anything could happen throughout the season and I'm hoping we can go on the way we've been going, but inevitably we won't.

It has to be said we have beaten teams in the bottom half of the table but you can only play the opposition put in front of you. We are capable of scoring against anyone so will pick up more points than we lose.

If we keep plugging away that 10 point loss will become less and less significant as a proportion of our points total. We could be in the play off places by January and then who knows.

Very interesting, dongo. Just three out of eight still there at the end 

Can't see Peterborough or Wolves not staying up there and L Orient (a surprise) have had a stormer. The rest - up for grabs, though I expect MK Dons to be thereabouts.

Leyton Orient have had am amazing start, record breaking for them im sure. I actually don't think they will maintain that and will drop a bit, maybe playoffs. I think Peterboro and Wolves will both be up there come the end of the season, they are strong.

If our owners back the manager and allow him to recruit a couple more and not try to sell any of our starlets in January as they tried to do so in the last window we have a chance if we are top half at Christmas we have evry chance to finish in the top six.
