The concept of a 12,000 stadium she should be stated as unacceptable right from now, I doubt it will ever be built but it is inadequate, our last game at the Ricoh attracted that ie following a mid-table finish after a 10pt deduction against the mighty Orient it would have been a sell out. Also I am not sure if I will go to a new ground in Warwickshire, Brandon & Baginton - yes as it feels like Coventry, Bedworth / Solihull / Leamington - then no.
If SISU were to engage consultants and ask them where was the best place to build this stadium to maximise the number of fans they would say Coventry, a compromised stadium built because they have fallen out with the CCC is destined for failure. Don't think it will be built but equally need to let SISU know that many of us fans may not be attending if built in Bedworth.
Yes, that's what it's all about. You're spot on, exactly right.
Well that is what you said. Very strange and bizarre, 30 miles out of Cov no good, 10 miles, out of Cov yes please. No other stated factors.
Weird.

Another town/city, or just outside of Coventry.
Huge difference.
Rugby ok ?

What about a town/City just outside of Coventry? Nuneaton? Rugby? Would that be a 'medium' difference?
Not bothered about near a village to be honest. Just a town with at least a semi professional football club representing it. It would be wrong.
See above.
Not in another town = not in another town
And not just from our point of view either, we can't just waltz into someone else home for good.
But surely if it was built closer to, say Rugby or Nuneaton, than Coventry that would be wrong, as it would be encroaching on their semi-professional club?
Anywhere outside the boundary of COVENTRY is wrong.
To be honest it ain't gonna fookin happen any way, we're just being lied to.
And that's the trouble, It can't be a green field site so would be near to some town or village... Rugby, Leamington, Atherstone, Stratford all have CV postcodes are they in or out? or a bit too far for Torchy...
Yeah, can't really argue with that. Doubt that would be the case if it was to happen anyway, which I don't believe it will.
Odd thing is that the Ricoh is on the boundary of Coventry and Nuneaton and Beduff.
Let's all get our maps out and compare willies!
The point I think we are making is that no one knows where it could be, yet some are singing the praises of the new stadium. Bonkers to me or just arguing for the sake of it.

Others are making up scare stories of a 12K stadium 9 miles from the City.
Who is and where? There's nothing to sing praises for.
This I agree with, but mainly the 'what if it's slightly closer to Bedworth than Coventry? What if it's on an ancient Indian burial ground? Is 10.2 miles too far, what about 10.1? bizarre line of questioning about something that's not an actual thing.
Exactly, all I said was the ground being in a different town/city is a huge difference to it being just outside of Coventry. And I stand by that.
....You'll only be able to stand by it IF its built surely...
It doesn't matter if they say it will be 5,000, 15,000 or 50,000, it will not be built. SISU don't have the money and they aren't going to find anyone stupid enough to finance it.
It's glaringly obvious, from their recent statements and machinations, that there is no substance to Plan A. The only plan is, and always has been, to get the freehold of the Ricoh.
