As said, there is no proof it will be 12k anyway is there or if there is a stadium at all...

As I said earlier I am no stadium builder but IF it could be extended easily then I don't see the issue with a smaller stadium, I think more like 17 - 19000 though rather than 12k.

I just don't see the point in building a huge stadium we would never fill.

I don't think many people would disagree with that size of stadium where we are right now but even last season we filled 32,000 so it can happen. 25000 I could possibly agree with but 12-18000 is an acceptance of where we will be for the next 5-10 years !

Grendels comments about charging the fans more in a small stadium nails it for me, he must be fisher, as this is the usual contempt shown to city fans by the current owners.

and where were those 32k after that one solitary game? what was the next attendance, about 10k??

I think a stadium of nearer what Highfield rd was i.e. 23k would be about right IMO.

All this aside lets just get back to the Ricoh as this is the biggest tragedy at the moment.

My point is the potentials there if there is success. As I said I could understand a 25000 seater but not the small stadiums being talked about.

It all comes down to what vision the owners have for the club

More importantly I think most of us believe a new stadium is extremely unlikely and not really in the owners plans. We'll soon find out though

Anything less than 20k is unambitious IMO. It's what our gates were in the Championship when Sisu took over, leaving us with less is an admission of the damage they've done to the club IMO.

When were we averaging 22000 ?
I know we did, but what year was it and what was the average wage then around the area Cov fans live in, as £10 a ticket then is not worth the same now .
I can not believe someone is advocating increasing the price of matchday and season ticket to create the same income, so a smaller stadium can be built.
Madness

You want to see brightons ticket prices.....

We averaged 21.5k in the our first season 8 seasons ago. The gates had been steadily decreasing to our HR levels since then.
