Genuine question, how could Leicester have lost their manager when they had already lost Rodgers and were bumbking along with a temo manager in Dean Smith I believe?

Also if Ipswich keep the level of player Burnley have then yeah but that is less likely, Philogene, Clarke, Phillips, Delap, Cajuste and Davis are unlikely to stay and if that happens they are a lot worse squad than Burnley this year.

Also blades did lose their manager or best player?

Time will tell. I don't get caught up in fans predictions. Football history is more reliable. For instance none of Mondays results surprised me. I didn't predict them but posters like Otis and me pointed out the dangers weeks ago about bottom v play off teams.

I'm not really interested in the players they will or might lose. They are still capable of building a promotion challenging team.

I am not expecting any relegated team to sink like a stone. Yes it can happen but not a given. Also even if they are way off play off contenders it doesn't mean they aren't capable of taking points off us.

Yes I have teams I hate, but when we play them I respect every one of them as a worthy opponent, because they are in the same league as us. By all means brag after the event, but too many fans unfortunately do it before the job has even started let alone done.

I’d go as far as to say we’d be in the playoffs already. A point against Burnley and maybe three against Plymouth if we hadn’t given it away early.

Or not fucked up the Norwich game.

That isn't only needing to beat Boro though?

The situation we are in is we could get 2 draws (2points) and we would have 68 points.
We could get 3 points ie beat luton and Middlesboro could top us by beating us and Norwich.
If we got 2 draws the only 2 teams who could catch us are Millwall and Blackburn .Millwall would have to improve their goal difference by 7 goals in winning their 2 games against inform Swansea and Burnley away.Think you would get massive odds on that happening.
Blackburn would have the easier task by winning both of theirs Watord at home and Sheff. Utd.away.
Simple as that.

I said myself that 2 draws should be enough for us

Can’t see us getting anything at Luton which is utterly depressing
Depressing is a bit OTT. I think it'll be hard too, it's a Luton team that should have been higher and is now playing like it should have been all season really. That said, whatever happens its in our hands in front of a full house at CBS on the last day. That's not depressing.

That constitutes a successful season for me even if we fall at the last hurdle.
But we have an opportunity to make it a special season.

It may be wishful thinking. I land back in the UK Saturday morning after 5 days in Vegas on a stag do and the thought of having to sit through 90 minutes knowing we need a win with a hangover/jet lagged is terrifying me
Get what you mean , we didnt play well against hull but we never looked like losing, plymouth was just a shocker, games like that we have to score first, they hardly had a touch the first 15 mins, but we didn’t create anything, it’ll be a different game Saturday, we have to take our chances when we’re on top, actually feel better about this game than before Plymouth,

It would hurt to not make it now, but i agree. Although if we miss out because of a paper hands goalkeeper moment on the final day I cannot promise i won't completely lose the plot.

The game was almost a carbon copy of Derby. Bright start, opposition got more confident, got a soft goal then we looked feckless and sucked in to a scrap.

I'm feeling pretty positive about the next two games, but I also expect those around us to drop points which will probably get us over the line.
Can see Leeds beating Bristol City, and Norwich could salvage a point against Middlesborough.
Can't imagine Millwall beating both Swansea and Burnley either

We will win on Saturday , A repeat in successive games would not be acceptable, and may seem some players looking for a new club which ever division we are in

Positive mindset today, I think we will get 4pts from the remaining 2 and get 5th (beat Luton & draw with Boro). Bristol to get hammered by Leeds Saturday and only manage a draw against PNE on the final day.

We're more likely to beat Boro at home, than Luton away. The CBS is a tough place to win at.

Love the permutations the next set of fixtures throw up, us beat Luton 1-0 and Bristol lose to Leeds by a least 2 goals and we would be 5th going into the last game.
The goal difference at the bottom Cardiff and Luton on the same and Derby and Hull on the same.Any goal that goes in on Saturday will greatly alter things.

Exactly what happened. We looked good for the first 15 mins or so, but just didn't get anywhere with the ball. Fair dues to Plymouth, because they were really well marshalled and organised and we had no joy down either flank.

Then take into account, Simms is not good in the air, therefore Plymouth won just about every header and he's not good at holding the ball up either.

We totally controlled the first part of the game, but looked toothless as a result of the above.

Remember when we ONLY needed 4 wins from the last 6 games to get to 70, we were flying, now we’re collinsesque scrambling over the line, but compared to how we all felt in november, this is a brilliant end to the season, now stop pissing about and get it done

If we were to finish on 70, that would be an average of 2 points per game across the final couple matches. We're currently on 66 points from 44 games - so averaging exactly 2 points per game across the season. Funnily enough, we're actually bang on course to hit 70, and that would look like continuation of points average across the season.

EDIT - this is completely wrong.
