Not for me, I enjoyed it. What we're going through now is throughly depressing though.

Are you that weird bloke from Finham who used to ring up CWR and tell them that you preferred playing at Northampton because it was easier to park? I’m sure he was called Pete

Yeah those seasons of finishing just outside the relegation zone, taking less than 1,000 away and the club nearly going out of business were great.
30000 crammed into a shit soulless bowl, 7 pound a pint, 35 quid a ticket, 15 quid for a parking space, 60 minutes to make a 10 minute journey home.
The cinema is more fun and I fucking hate the cinema.

Would prefer a modern day carbon copy ‘soulless’ bowl compared to that death trap I was stood in yesterday Tbf.

I think people see pre-90s football through rose tinted spectacles.

For all the faults with modern football, at least you know you can take your family to a game and come home again uninjured

People seriously pining for the Northampton days, get a grip 😂😂😂

You lot are half the problem, spoiled by success and can’t deal with a season or two of underachievement.

While I totally agree the irony of it coming from you given the way you've gone on this season is quite something!

I remember being in the stands at Leyton Orient on a freezing cold January evening watching a 12 year old George Thomas start up front and Denzel Slager coming off to the bench as we lost 2-0 in front of about 3k people.

Little did I know at the time that would be as good as it gets and years later I'd pining for those days as I watched the team nearly reach the FA Cup final.

Better memories than losing at home to Derby to be fair. Wore a bin bag as a poncho.
mate, from the sound of it you ain't a stranger to wearing bin bags

it was shite, anyway if you don't like it then basically fuck off and don't go.
