We definitely need a replacement for James, a new CB, GK, a new L WB, an AM, a ST…
I’d also say they should all be improvements on what we already have/had last year (with maybe the exception of AM)
Plenty of business still to be done I think.
Hamer eccles Kelly sheaf can play 2 f.c spots. Not sure we will bring in another there

Does MR's article yesterday suggest the likelihood of mega activity , hallmark signings, huge wage packages,it doesn't sound like it but we have spent money on Sheaf .
Unless he's being coy as usual .
Message to self , don't Carp on about it.

It was on Tuesday that SportExpressen was able to reveal that Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres would remain in England, when he chose between Coventry and another club in The Championship. Both clubs agreed with Brighton on the transfer fee of around SEK 12 million and it was up to the player himself to make a decision.
Traveling to England soon.
According to SportExpressen's information, the decision has now also been made. Gyökeres has chosen to go to Coventry City, the club the player was loaned to last season. There, the striker had a hard time getting playing time in the beginning, but he played quite a lot at the end and also accounted for three goals and started the last three matches. The 23-year-old Swede now agrees with Coventry on the personal contract and the clubs also agree on the transfer fee, which lands at around SEK 12 million.
Sold for about twelve million
The player is expected to travel to England at the beginning of next week where he will undergo a medical examination and then sign the contract with the club. He thus leaves Brighton, who bought Gyökeres from Brommapojkarna in the autumn of 2017. He has since been loaned to St Pauli in Germany, Swansea and Coventry in England. The 23-year-old was on Janne Andersson's national team's January tour in 2019, where he scored a goal in the two international matches that Sweden played then.

After all that anxiety about no incomings suddenly it's all a bit London buses....

As has been pointed out, it appears all to do with when everybody's existing contract officilly ends. In which case I am not sure what Luton are about...

Doesn't sound like a first choice to me.

Robins:- “Simon is a very good goalkeeper and is a great professional with a top attitude, who will strengthen our options in this area.

Decent business so far. Moore better than Wilson, Waghorn much better than the attackers we let go. Let's keep it going.

Moore will solidify the No1 spot and provide a strong base of the defence and think tippy tappy of playing out from the back will stop.

He’s not really gonna come out and say he’s number 1 straight away is he

Of course not, the use of language doesn't scream first choice that's all. Wouldn't be surprised to see another GK coming in.
