I mean my friend is a reading fan, he’s worried they’ll have a clear out summer. Started this week with Olise going. Said they need to clear out the squad before even contemplating buying. They’re now in a transfer embargo, Hull have just come up and in one. Derby are in the shit.

thats 3 teams who we’re better off then before you consider Peterborough and Blackpool, and the teams we finished above last season.

it’s been a slow summer but we’ll be fine

Walsh going to Swansea must be about the money. Their midfield was excellent last season so not sure how many starts he will get as unproven in the Championship never mind for a team that will probably be chasing play offs again.

I think it's en excellent move for him. Swansea had Hourihane on a very expensive loan from Villa last season & I could see him slotting in instead of him quite nicely. Swansea play a vaguely similar system to our League One side, with 2 attacking wing-backs which Walsh could thrive in. It's a transfer that, on the face of it, looks a perfect fit for both parties - just hope (for him) that he can stay fit & prove he's up to it.

Kasta going to PEC Zwolle? Something must have got lost in translation, maybe “plays shite “ means excellent in Dutch

More interestingly, PEC Zwolle was the club we got Hamer from. Maybe he dropped the club a message for Kasta. And I wonder if there are any other talents over there that we could swap players for ? :)

Depends on whether the button presser is one of those affected
The club will quire rightly not identify the individuals who have tested positive
I wasn't asking them to. I just highly doubt anyone affected has lost the ability to upload media to the website remotely.

Not criticising you but it's just that the club has much bigger things to worry about right now than announcing their new signings

So what we can read into this is that there may well be a covid issue at the club, and all this talk about Robins getting angry at Boddy & thinking of leaving and all these other rumoured massive problems are just silly talk.

Not sure about that. More than one supposed ITK has mentioned low budget and we all have eyes and memories. It’s pretty clear this summer isn’t going as well as it could.

At what point did i say hes thinking of leaving?

This is why i dint want to say anything because people are fucking ignorant and dont read things properly.

There can be a Covid outbreak and MR be pissed off at the same time you know?

Robins ISNT thinking of leaving. He is pissed off at missing out on targets for what in football terms is pennies. Has asked for a bit more loose change to help get main targets over the line and been met with a stern fuckoff. Hence the lack of any activity transfer wise.

Might send everyone here on some comprehension courses ffs

Nah. No itk have said the budget is low. I’d be gobsmacked if it wasn’t higher than last year

I feel at the moment Robins will have to work wonders this coming season.

Not really. Don’t think we should expect any more than survival and I think by the end of August we will have a stronger squad than last season once we top up with a few loans. He shouldn’t have to work wonders to be better than Derby and two others. Reading, Cardiff and Hull all now under embargo’s

If MR has been denied 1st choice targets like James and Paterson for sake of a few quid then we cant just stick our head in the sand and pretend it doesn't matter.

If I'd been told in April that Sheaf/Viktor/Bright would be announced as 3 of first 5 summer signings i wouldn't be leaping around tbh.

I hope it all comes good in the end

if we get 3 good loans in, and Gyok and Bright sign we will have a better team and better squad than last year
Unless Robins was to get a really good job offer, hes going nowhere -

Please ! Why are we still on about Bright ? Admittedly, the guy has an immense amount of talent. But he's also got an immensely over-inflated idea about himself and I don't think 2 years struggling to get into any team will have changed that. So unless Robins throws the book out of the window and allows Bright to run free and unchallenged... oh yeah, look what happened to Marosi for challenging Robins. Not going to happen. And for the sake of the club and team spirit, I hope it doesn't.

Yep…We’re definitely signing Bright aren’t we?

Even if we did lose out for the sake of a couple of grand here or there, that may not be the primary factor of us losing out. For instance with regards to Collins and perhaps Walsh, couldn't it be more down to the fact that they've joined Cardiff and Swansea respectively because both clubs are likely to be in and around the play-offs next season?

That's a slightly more attractive prospect than joining a club who's likely to be in relegation battle.
