Difference is one is 23 with potential and the other is close to 30 who flirted in and out of the Bristol side I’m not fussed we didn’t get Patterson tbh or Collins for that matter,Matty James is the one I’m gutted we didn’t get but we can get as good I’m sure

That we were seemingly in for him/Walsh makes me think we’ll get another midfielder in.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I believe Waghorn to be better than Collins. Don’t really know anything about Paterson but Bright could be great again. I don’t know if anyone has seen that goal he got in the Indian premier league…

Just a thought but I wonder if we might try and take James Garner on loan from Man United. There were rumours that we enquired last season but he went to Watford instead and barely played. So he got recalled and was sent to Forest where he did well. Would fill a Midfield role.
It has to be an option. I’d prefer the lad from Wolves but I wonder if we have burnt out bridges with then having hsf Giles twice and not really played him.

Not sure of which Wolves lad you mean. Could be right depends on staff churn since Nuno left as manager. I'd imagine he wouldn't have had much input

Why so? Forest finished below us. United were obviously unhappy with his game time at Watford. I'd say we are a pretty good option for bigger teams wanting young players to get minutes in a team that actually tries to play football.
He is miles off their first team it's not like I'm saying we should take Fred or McTominay

Rarely for SBT we’re pretty unanimous on the need for a LWB and another CB (ideally LCB). So I’m sure MR/AV/CB are having the exact same though and more importantly acting on them.
I think we’ll pick up one permanent and one high potential loanee. I liked McCallum but not too concerned we didn’t get him again, it’ll be good to see someone else out there and his attacking ability wasn’t great.
On the talk of high potential youngsters not quite achieving (someone mentioned that about Panzo earlier), I wouldn’t rule out Pask having an impactful season (at CB not RWB!).

Some bloke on twitter that claims to know Boddy and Tynan Scope saying we're getting 2 more loans in thats it due to budget. Claims this is directly from Tynan and Boddy.
If that's the case then basically we've been mugged clean off as supporters.
We've spent nowhere near what we did last summer and apparently have a bigger budget
. Also 10k season ticket holders that we didnt have last year.
I wasnt expecting much but if its true its more piss poor than usual
