I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't really have a clue if Walton's any good, either! If he goes to Luton I will not have anybody saying they've had a middling window.
Dark horses with him there
If you send me £5 I'll put it on facebook live.Is the Cheltenham game streamed anywhere?
Sheff United fans might look at him in comparison to Henderson who effectively replaced him tooMoore during his time at Sheff Utd:
Played almost every game during their League 1 promotion season, like Marko for us, and got in the Team of the Year.
Started the Championship season injured but played most of the second half of the season, conceding just over a goal a game and average 1.3 points per game which would be roughly mid-table (2 less games than Marko played for us last season who conceded nearly 2 goals a game)
Didn’t play any games in the Championship promotion season but they signed a keeper who is now playing regularly for Man Utd...
I don’t understand why so many people are already writing him off. At the very worst he should be no worse than Marosi but you’d like to think with the extra year on top training at Prem level, plus having a point to prove, he’d be better
movement without the ball.

We have hit almost 10,000 season tickets and have the prospect of an assumed average 17k home crowds in the league plus whatever else we might cobble together in the cups. For us to be more hamstrung budget wise than last summer when we knew nobody would be allowed in but still spent a fair whack on Hamer and Walker alone I’m struggling to make sense of.
So far we have scraped the barrel as well as we can but in a league where all the other owners seem OK to write off everything they put in
But you can accept that the transfer window isn't over and more are likely to come in while being underwhelmed with what we've done so far. Those are not contradictory positions are they.We haven’t finished our recruitment. We may be yet be completing another signing for a fee.
Our transfers are structured in instalments too, we’re still paying the money for Hamer and Walker. We’ve spent money on Sheaf and Gyo this summer too.
Unlike previous season, we haven’t brought in any significant revenue from selling players this summer (and hopefully we keep our assets) too.
Again, given that 5 teams are yet to make a signing and you have clubs like Derby who are a basket case club atm. The claim that other owners are ‘OK to write off everything they put in’ just doesn’t ring true.
Do you have any evidence whatsoever to back up your point?

Just under 50 games played at a higher level.
Can I see your evidence that Simon Moore is no better than Marosi, Wilson, Bilson or Tyler?

I mean, I guess 2 is just under 50 on a big enough scale.
(Sorry I couldn’t resist that one, back to not rising)

To be fair I think it's understandable why we're struggling on the financial front:
- No big windfall from a player sale or sell-on fee as of yet
- EFL loan
- Bonuses for players and staff for remaining in the Championship
- CBS ticketing office, club shop refub and new crest
- Pre-season in Spain
- Interest from increased loans last season to account for lost ticketing and commercial revenue for entire season
- Transfer instalments for Hamer and Walker due

Oh ChristWait until people find out we lost 5-0 to MK Dons today…
We lost to them twice in one day.Wait until people find out we lost 5-0 to MK Dons today…
IN A SIXTY MINUTE GAME!!!Wait until people find out we lost 5-0 to MK Dons today…
I'd forgot about the PL games as well. I was talking about championship games for bigger teams
So where is this evidence for your nonsense then?
Wait until people find out we lost 5-0 to MK Dons today…
Read the thread. I’m not your mum.
I did and you haven't posted any
You demand evdence then decide to not back up what you are saying.

Can we all agree we want Maddison to go for a massive fee ASAP and give us a bit of a kitty?
Those players would come in at a value which would be reflected in the accounting so shouldn't make a difference. It would be good, there is talk of Arsenal offering players + cash deal which would not be ideal.
Not so farAny whispers of anything in general transfer wise @better days ?

It's way to early to judge of course, but 2 of the goals he conceded in the totally meaningless friendly against Savile were piss poor.Just under 50 games played at a higher level.

Anyone else think Hamer isn't lightyears ahead of Sheaf?
He’s better but not light years ahead. This is another case of fan favourites faults being overlooked.
