Allessani was taken on knowing he had had career threatening injuries but was a quality player worth a gamble and I think Wakefield was similar. You missed out Hiwula and as stated Andreu was injured in our name.
I think it is pushing it to say that Allessani and Wakefield were bought as first team players when it was stated they were development buys and whilst agreeing that the others never shone in our colors or are yet to shine, the degree of negativity on here reflects the Slade or late Mowbray era and is unjustified in my opinion based on the progress made in that time.

How can you say Hiwula was a failure? He scored 12 goals in 39 league games in his first season for us mainly from out wide.O’hare and Bright were excellent. Westbrooke, Allen and Thomas were good. The rest failures.

And ended up in the bomb squad on high wages doing nothing

Armando Broja, chelsea striker on loan at vitesse scored 10 in 27. Loan possibly?
Mason mount scored 14 and assisted 9 for vitesse and went to derby the season after, it’s probably unlikely though yes.Highest scoring teenager in Europe, no chance.
Yeah, they had Lampard as manager who would have no doubt helped and were a regular in the play offsMason mount scored 14 and assisted 9 for vitesse and went to derby the season after, it’s probably unlikely though yes.

Embargoed until accounts submitted but the transfer window is also shut tooAre we able to sign anybody or are we still under a transfer embargo?
Bit of culture having a Greek philosopher playing for usHe does have dodgy knees though

Not a rumour - Josh Doig is 18, just been named young player of the year in Scotland. Left back - might be worth asking a value
Thought we signed the best left back up from Scotland in ReidDifficult to gauge his next move. He's recently been linked to Stoke, Millwall & Sunderland which isn't out of the realms of possibility but previously was linked with Man City, Leicester, Arsenal, Leeds and Celtic in the January window which is obviously way above our level. Relatively cheap development player for a Prem side.
This guy is putting together the release lists of every club as and when they come out:
English Football – Released Players – Summer 2021
Final Update – 4th September 2021 Here’s the players who’ve so far been released by clubs in the Premier League, Championship, League One & League Two. These are fro…footballfragmento.wordpress.com
Think it’s just their 23s they’ve announced, nothing on first teamers yet.Walsh not on the Bristol City released list as yet. Presumably signifies they'll offer him something.
How much was Mario Vrancic on at Norwich? Always looked a class player to me
About £20k.
You're right, quality player, think he'll head back to Germany tbh.
Haven't read all the posts but i'll suggest Jordan Rhodes, now that Sheff Wed have gone down.
Bradley will almost certainly sign a new deal at Luton.
So glad there are sensible people running the club. We need to stick to our transfer policy, like Brentford and Barnsley and let other clubs throw good money after bad. Young and hungry beats overpriced, overpaid, big-name has-beens!!!!Haven't read all the posts but i'll suggest Jordan Rhodes, now that Sheff Wed have gone down.
Paterson has been liking a lot of Coventry related posts over the least 3 weeks, either hes a huge Cov Fan or theres something else in the offing...
Shame - we could do with someone like him –Rumours this morning that he's rejected new deal with Luton.
If true, I wonder if that's personal reasons to be closer to home after the death of his father recently. If that's the case, although he'd be a good fit for us, I think he's more likely to move further North - someone like Preston or even a return to Hull now they're promoted?
