Wasnt a scholar they bought him from FulhamI didn’t know that, I thought Liverpool loaned Elliott out when he was 17?
I’m guessing Elliott was signed as a pro Bapaga is here jumped straight not a scholar I wouldn’t be surprised if Howley is the same.I didn’t know that, I thought Liverpool loaned Elliott out when he was 17?
Its not HamerGerrard told Sky News yesterday that he is close to signing a midfielder for Rangers. It's a worry.
Didnt Howley sign a pro contract so isnt he like Bapaga and Eccles and the rest of the u23sI’m guessing Elliott was signed as a pro Bapaga is here jumped straight not a scholar I wouldn’t be surprised if Howley is the same.

What would you say is a significant fee?
You could see the players having a go at DaCosta the other night when he just couldn’t be arsed to get close enough to block the cross or he bothered to look over his shoulder to track the runnerShippers himself probably would be open for a move I guess
He's Cov through and through but he's not a fool
He'll see a hopeless case like Da Costa being sent on ahead of him at Blackpool and know the writing's on the wall
It's not just us fans who can see Da Costa's frailties
Opponents as well as our own players know them only too well
What would you say is a significant fee?
So would betterdays' dog.I know Shipley can't tackle but I'm sure he'd have been lower
risk than Dacosta
Sign him / her upSo would betterdays' dog.
Even if it had been run over.
Sign him / her up
I would leave Robins to be the arbiter of the value of Shipley to the squad. 150 games and by your yardstick 15 decent ones.
'Sake. I've only just learned the words to his song!Gerrard told Sky News yesterday that he is close to signing a midfielder for Rangers. It's a worry.
He is one of our own tho...........So you rate him do you?
Do you like players that can only run for 20 minutes? Or shirk tackles? Or give the ball away all the time?
That's more realisticWe paid a million so it is likely to a decent but higher than that and they simply don't have the funds. They are about 20 million in a hole for running costs as it is. That is before you take into account the 10 million owed to Mike Ashley and the 10 million owed to Dave King their former Chairman
Also it's Bacuna they are rumoured to be trying to get on the never never.
Am I right I’m thinking Howley came out for the warmup before the Blackpool game but wasn’t in the squad? If so they’re keeping him close to the first team.Regarding Howley, if he’s on a full time contract we can loan him out as he’s 17. I wouldn’t think he’d be anywhere near ready for a league one loan though

We aren't losing anyone we want to keep to any Scottish club, the standard up there gets worse every year.
Just to add I do actually think Rangers and Celtic are big football clubs but I'm pretty sure a lot of players would sooner be in the Championship than at either of those nowadays. That league is dying on its arse.

Exactly this.Failing to qualify for the CL means most decent players are now off limits to them for both financial and prestige reasons. The only appeal would be a shortcut to elite European football and neither have qualified in ages
Like all things to do with the team I have faith in the manager to look after his resources accordingly. I would never say one of our players was shit when they have served us in two promotions during those 150 games. So you rate him do you?

He just ball watched, it was so obvious what was going to happenYou could see the players having a go at DaCosta the other night when he just couldn’t be arsed to get close enough to block the cross or he bothered to look over his shoulder to track the runner
I'm hoping Shipley steps up like Sheaf and (maybe Allen) has but the fact he's not being given that chance against Blackpool for example suggests maybe his time is up.
Yeah I wouldn't loan Howley out, he's not even had a season in the 23s yet I don't think. if you think Jonny Ngandu came into the first team picture nearly 3 years ago and he still hasn't gone out on loan yet.
That's the problem. He is always further up the pitch. Seems everything is always happening 20 yards behind him.If we have to bring Dacosta on can’t we do it further up the pitch? The likelihood of costing us a goal is reduced then!
I think Max has got a job there this season. He went out to Iceland last season?
Both clubs are shite. We aren't losing anyone we want to keep to any Scottish club, the standard up there gets worse every year.

Nicely put.Both clubs are shite.
No. It's Bacuna.from HuddersfieldGerrard told Sky News yesterday that he is close to signing a midfielder for Rangers. It's a worry.
I was surprised if Robins was going to make that sub that he did not put Dabo to LWB for a few mins. DaCosta was a heads gone straight away.I know Shipley can't tackle but I'm sure he'd have been lower
risk than Dacosta
