Suppose with them attributes and his height he would be worth a gamble. Read he came from Sunday league so would probably take some good coaching.
I think he signed for Solihull from like level 8 on the pyramid. Hes a bit like a string bean atm, but if he can put some muscle on even if he isnt the best on the ball he could make a career for himself professionally.

Playing in the 11th tier before joining Solihull at end of October. I think it would be a massive (pun intended) gamble for anyone at Championship level taking him at this stage but he'll definitely get an EFL move.

I guess it depends on the price. Around the £100k mark and hes worth the gamble IMO. He's the sort of signing we watch another team make and then say "why didn't we sign him" when he gets a few goals.

Yeah, fair point - would certainly be low cost & potentially high reward just think the jump is astronomical.

Barnsley Huddersfield and Wednesday are said to be chasing Kyle Hudlin from Solihull moors. 20 year old striker scored 9 in 31 and he is 6ft, 9inches! Meant to be quite good with his feet too wonder if we have had a look.

Could commute to the stadium in about 10 mins on a matchday. Walking.

Or he’s another Bouwe Bosma and people complain that we ever tried in the first place.
Bit different in my eyes, Bosma was playing sporadically at a team in tier 8, Hudlin has started nearly every game for a team in Tier 5, a professional team at that.

Woodburn is talented but he’s been on three loans and been sent back by all. Last was to his old coach at Liverpool to revive him but only 10 games

How long before there's a panic thread about the lack of new signings and predictions of relegation by December.

Happens every close season on SBT :)

We'll undoubtably get players through the door, but I do think it's going to be more difficult this season to bring in our primary transfer targets - something Robins has previously said is tricky even in normal circumstances. Meaning Robins and the backroom staff may have to revert to Plan B, C or even D.

With signings from the lower European divisions far more difficult to secure, a talent pool has essentially been cut off, so more focus is now going to be centred on bringing in players from home turf.

That in turn is likely to make our recruitment prospects more challenging this season, as we're essentially fishing in the same pool as a number of Championship clubs, (many of which probably wouldn't have spent time delving deep into the EFL and NL to unearth gems previously) which puts us at a serious disadvantage for the obvious reasons.
