Just read that Ipswich have bid 400k for Crooks at Rotherham, I think he is a better player than league one but Ipswich do seem to be having a good spend this summer.

He was being linked with Shrewsbury a few days ago! Would be very underwhelmed with this. Remember we were linked with a loan deal from Wolves back when Coleman was manager I think. Telegraph reported it like it was a done deal.

We obviously need championship experience at both ends

Yeah the issue is here is that these players will be holding out for wages in line with what they were previously earning, Robins alluded to it in the interview he did.

“There’s a probably a mixture of things going on. People are unaware of the circumstances around the finances of football, so I think people are holding out for more money to see if things change. But they won’t.

Attacking left back Kenneth Paal has been linked with Barnsley and Forest. He played for Zwolle with Hamer wonder if we are looking at him.
