Same, I’d personally prefer Torp over Eccles as I think he can actually shoot and is clever with his passing but Robins will start Eccles for sure.He will start Eccles over torp. Although I personally would play torp. He is some player I think.
Not alone, would love to see us mixing the formations up this season, playing what we think causes the opposition most problems rather than playing what we’re used to. I feel we have the quality to be able to do that now.Might be alone but really hope we start in a 4-4-2.
Dovin
MVE-Thomas-Binks-Bidwell
Tats-Rudoni-Sheaf-EMC
Simms-Wright
Agreed although I would switch Wright across to the right and have EMC on the leftAs it stands
Dovin
MVE Thomas Binks Bidwell
Eccles Sheaf
EMC Rudoni Wright
Simms
Wilson
Latibeaudiere
Dasilva
Torp
Allen
Palmer
Rapha
Sakamoto
Taveres
He's got some absolute quality wingers and I don't know how he's going to fit them in. Just hope it doesn't take 10 games to settle like last season
The striker is a wierd one tho. Suddenly gone silentStill think it's too early
By the Bremen friendly we will have in who we want I would feel. Bar 1 or 2 that may become available on loan
I can see Torp being cover for Sheaf rather than Eccles. He will start Eccles over torp. Although I personally would play torp. He is some player I think.
No EMC starting? In my view, he’s getting the nod ahead of Sakamoto. Otherwise, with the players we’ve got, that line up is bang on.I’d be shocked if it’s not
New Keeper (Dovin)
MVE Thomas Binks Bidwell
Eccles Rudoni Sheaf
Tatsu Simms Wright
Written as a 433 because our midfield will play flatter this year imo.
And barring injury or signing a worldie.
If EMC starts then Wright has to play off the right side. Robins has always been slow to introduce new signings. I think the question is an interesting one.No EMC starting? In my view, he’s getting the nod ahead of Sakamoto. Otherwise, with the players we’ve got, that line up is bang on.
Torp isn’t a a CDM.I can see Torp being cover for Sheaf rather than Eccles.
No one can cover what Eccles does, the closest is Lats, but he's not as good as Eccles at being Eccles
It will beTorp isn’t a a CDM.
I think Torp could be a big player for us this season but if he is it will be as an 8. I’m still not convinced we will play with a 10 this season, it could well be 2 8’s.
Hopefully that gives us more defensive strength and with the right 8’s a great attacking base …It will be
Why? Sakamoto was arguably our best player in the period before his injury, and EMC usually plays on the left doesn't he? I don't see why he'd drop Sakamoto. No EMC starting? In my view, he’s getting the nod ahead of Sakamoto. Otherwise, with the players we’ve got, that line up is bang on.
And also allen too as back upHopefully that gives us more defensive strength and with the right 8’s a great attacking base …
Home
Sheaf ( cdm )
Torp ( passing )
Rudoni ( driving forward with the ball )
Away ( swap in Eccles for Torp to add greater defensive qualities )
