SISU will be proud
Is there any need to bring Sisu into this?!!
What's the problem with drawing comparisons?
FBI will find something on him and he will be arrested
Fifa presidency: Greg Dyke on Sepp Blatter: 'This is not over'
Football Association chairman Greg Dyke does not expect Sepp Blatter to stay as Fifa president, despite the Swiss winning a fifth term in charge, saying "this is not over by any means".
Blatter was re-elected on Friday, two days after the US Justice Department arrested seven Fifa officials for bribery and racketeering charges.
"The idea Blatter could reform Fifa is suspect," claimed Dyke.
"I'd be surprised if Mr Blatter was still in this job in two years' time."
He won't. He's a Swiss national and the head of an institution based in Switzerland. Apparently the Swiss although they have laws on bribery, corruption and money laundering they don't use them on their own. So if the FBI do have something on him all he has to do is not leave Switzerland and he's pretty much untouchable. It was no coincidence that all the people who have been arrested in Switzerland so far are not Swiss. For all we know the FBI already have something on him but the Swiss won't action the international arrest warrant. Not saying that is the case but an expert on the subject who was on Radio 2 yesterday said basically the Swiss are hypocrite's when it comes to their own.
bullshit, the swiss authorities started their own proceedings against people suspected of taking bribes on the votes for the 2018 and 2022 world cup.
A bluff I would think, Platini was one of the best footballer's of his generation but I think his time as head of uefa is damaging his reputation.Platini said Europe would boycott the World Cup
Him and Putin are both the same
And how many people did they prosecute, because surely there can be no doubt at all that Qatar won it fair and square.....bullshit, the swiss authorities started their own proceedings against people suspected of taking bribes on the votes for the 2018 and 2022 world cup.
Went to a second vote, but prince Ali withdrew as he was so far behind in the first vote. Utter disgrace
And how many people did they prosecute, because surely there can be no doubt at all that Qatar won it fair and square.....
A bluff I would think, Platini was one of the best footballer's of his generation but I think his time as head of uefa is damaging his reputation.
He has a strong hand to play I think, a complete boycott by uefa and an alternative competition taking place with the world champions involved would prove a huge draw to serious footballing nation's. Would the Brazil's and Argentina's of this world turn up to play South korea, Mali or South Africa or the likes of Italy, France, Holland, England and the German's along with the other uefa country's. Does he have the balls ?
There was book published in 1999 called "How They Stole The Game" by David Yallop. At the time FIFA tried to ban it but failed. If you can get a copy it is a very interesting read.
What is it with some of you? Wishing he was dead and the like.
