I posted on GMK since the Rivals days. It stopped being a pluralistic gathering of CCFC fans, mostly after Knowl took over, and became a bitter clique of trolls and people who looked down on the vast majority of fans. This place was like a breath of fresh air when it took off after the CET/606 forums closed down and GMKs issues pushed people over from there. Plus TWT and LAST died.

Sadly this place has gone in a similar direction. As all forums do when the admin picks a side rather than encouraging all views.

Once it was GMK vs SBT GMK died because it was a minority viewpoint. I worry the same will happen here compared to Twitter and FB as has happened to the vast majority of forums over the last ten years.

Which is sad, because I much prefer the forum format to large scale social media. Most of which were designed as either broadcast media or private chats and not as a forum for people to gather.

You are allowed to post your views aren't you? You just don't like it when they get corrected or you have to be filled in with basic facts you miss out.

Once support for agendas waine people start pointing fingers. It’s a shame that they’re pointed in the wrong direction sometimes when people have backed the wrong horse.
I do think Nick is a little harsh sometimes but it’s easy to see why when you have pr assaults which really aren’t called for. It’s certainly stopped the commodore posters/pr monkeys. Once, twice three times a season to quote half man half biscuit.

Nothing is ever moderated or deleted (other than when they are offensive), all views are allowed, including Nick's.

GMK died mostly because of technical issues. I didn't post on there much but it became impossible to log on or register so essentially made itself defunct.

Remind me what you add to the whole ccfc discussion on here, a ccfc site?

You only ventured back to try and give it loads when you saw a strange account try to come on and try to stick the boot in, both you and schmeee will be nowhere to be seen when it comes to talking about football tomorrow. The same amount of input as when there was a thread about the council.

Maybe you could just start your own site with dart, Johnson, schmeee, his old man and all of the other accounts with no real interest in ccfc? There's nothing stopping you.

Having a different view is fine, and healthy. But nick does go over the top with his hounding of people who disagree with him. He’s SISU like in that he tries to “batter” people on here, throwing all sorts of age old crap into the equation when it isn’t going his way. He didn’t used to be like that, and the site was better then.

If you can’t see that then you should visit spec savers, or maybe because his POV matches your own, you’re ok with it.

Nick can have an opinion and he should have an opinion. Just because it is his forum doesn't mean he has to be neutral. This isn't the BBC. It's easy not to log on and post if you don't like it.
