606... a final goodbye... (1 Viewer)

Finally closed today so just wanted to say a few words. Positive ones.

I started using it about 3 years ago, I live in sheffield so it was a good way to keep up with local gossip and in a way was the match that lit the fire of hate for the boys up the road, and to be honest a lot of them were good lads just up for banter and a laugh.

I was a regular poster for about two years and not so much for past year for reasons known to those who frequented the site, I also got a job which I can't unfortunatly sack it off for hours on end.

Met some decent Cov fans on there a few of which look to have migrated over to this neck of the woods which is great to see. It looks like the forum is starting to thrive now and long may it continue. Have seen a few moans about people posting rumour and hearsay, I say long may it continue. FFS what else do you suppose we do for the next two months?

So in short RIP to 606 it was sad to see you go, but in death comes new life and from what I have seen this is the future

Shame 606 was very good especially the interaction with other teams fans before and after fixtures .
Was known as inthecasino but now reborn into the SBT family

I always loved 606, it was the place to be when there was any rumours, speculation, announcements, anything... It was great to have interaction / banter / sometimes the odd difference opinion with fans from other clubs which sadly is something that we cannot take onto this site. However the most important thing to me is the Sky Blues and our fans so long may it continue. RIP 606 (from eastwood_is_god ©).

I liked it, but couldn't stand John Fallen! Ignorant and a hypocrite. Also known as a prick!

I joined 606 around the time we nearly went into admin.

It was a good way of letting off steam and genuinely discussing the future of the club.

Sadly, NEO and crap modding ruined it all.

It seemed to have too many people I picture sitting posting whilst wearing tinfoil helmets.
