We won't get near the play off's like this. Lack of ambition by SISU and still no business plan to stabalise the finances of the club. Time to go SISU. Get someone in with VISION.

You realise you're slagging off signings before you even have the slightest clue who they may even be.

Blind abuse hardly suggests you're too hot on the VISION front yourself.

it really depends on who we sign , for every henderson there is a lee sawyer and i can easily understand the dissapointment i cant see us signing macheada or wellbeck or anichebe, i fear for us this season i really do

unfortunatly i have to agree with you, unless hoffman can pull off this takeover and provide a transfer fund i can see a relegation battle looming :(

The loan market is a great way to provide depth and to challenge first teamers. Norwich had Henri Lansbury last season, he was one of the best players in the division. Dani pacheco scored a few for them as well. Fabio Borini scored 6 in 11 for Swansea and won a pen in the play-off final. leicester bagged a great player in Kyle Naughton also, he scored against IIRC. So for every Lee Sawyer there is, there's some ruddy good, hungry players out there. You've just got to find them.

people people people no need to worry, yes we do not have alot of money and were not guna sign high established players but with the squad we have already im pretty pleased with! this is how i view it, westwood and quirke have gone but now we have two capable keepers in murphy and dunn so thats sorted! o halloran,s gone we have hussey who,s better and then cranie/wood a more then capable cover so gettin a extra left back in is not a priority! gunnarsson/mcindoe/carsley replaced by deegan/thomas so maybe 1 more signing for midfield and king,s gone so we need a striker or 2 so in my eyes we really only need 3 outfield players so loans or permanant signings wouldnt bother me at all and even if we kicked the season off with what weve got wouldnt bother me either! i think we have a team full of young hungry players with desire to do well for this club and im optimistic with how AT got us playing towards the end of last season! so come on guys cheer up

Basically everybody needs to chill. We won't go up we won't go down. Steady start, little flourish and flirtation with top 6 in Autumn, general decline as limited squad problem kicks in, little flirtation with relegation then ship steadying to finish in our usual bottom half place. Thorn gone by end of season to stick with tradition. Best players go but young gems come in to replace them before they too are sold off in 18 months time and so the cycle begins again. In other words normal service so why stress :)

and i bet that if were still owned by sisu in 2 years time we will be in league 1 so they will have just delayed the inevitable.

and from what i hear there is a valid offer on the table currently which sisu shud accept asap for the good of the football club.

Do enlighten me to as to the terms of this offer then. How much will be invested and by who? Until i read anything official i dont beleive a word of a takeover.

Anybody heard of Lansbury before last season? Made a massive difference to Norwich. You just never know with loans, you could get a van Aanholt or you could get a Sawyer. But it's worth the risk I say.

Of course its worth the risk. We are gambling with the idea of spending big wages on an older player who could get crocked, OR gambling little wages on an unproven young premiership striker.

Both options are a big gamble, so id always go with the one that is going to cost us less, and if it goes wrong, they can be sent back and have a gamble with someone else. Or if we went for an older player, they get crocked then we are forking our a fortune and with no other option than to hope Shaun Jeffers steps upto the plate, and i really dont think hes going to with what ive seen.
