A good potential site for a new ground in Coventry (1 Viewer)

Good try Nick. I didn't miss anything. I did point out in reply to that point that anyone serious about buying CCFC would surely talk to CCC as part of their due diligence. Maybe you missed that part.

You didn't mention SISU or Fisher in this post. So Tony, Are you you happy with what they've done to Coventry City? It appears you must be.

Same Shit another day.
There is nowhere big enough for a modern day football ground in Coventry especially if you require room for all those non match day payouts.
Another reason the Butts is to small.
So maybe we should tell JLR to fuck off and use the land they want near Coventry Airport.

Talking shit as always Torch. As always my reply was appropriate to the post I was replying to. You should give it a go some time.

I'm sorry, just throwing your posting style back at ya. I'll get back in my hole now.

Currently, I wouldn't even waste my time trying, as there are no signals to suggest it worth my while.
I remember one big signal. When previous people in charge of CCFC left our club shafted with no home and nothing being done about it they all pulled together and got the Ricoh built. Then the latest ones running CCFC tried shafting everyone who helped get it built. And they will be in agreement that nobody would try to help them again. They will know that bridges will need to be built without them being set alight before they are even completed.

IMO, BPA was a non-starter, although it would be great site and location just not practical for accommodating > 10,000 fans.

The old Courtaulds Cricket Ground in Foleshill seems big enough and possibly easier to relocate some of the other businesses to create even more development. Further away from the city centre than highfield road but a lot closer than the Ricoh. Not sure if there is any planned development but like the idea of an inner city stadium rather than an out of town one like the Ricoh.

There isn't going to be a new ground. Simple!
