A message to SISU RAG AND BONE LTD.

Sisu Rag and Bone Ltd managed to morgage the season ticket sales to keep our club limping along for a few more weeks and avoid Admin by 48 hrs

GH is pushing hard to get the deal done but most of the twittering faceless so called directors are hear, there, and everywhere but never at the Ricoh.

Sissu you have ROBBED our club of all it's shares and FAILED in everyway to deliver on YOUR promises that you would grow the club and leave it in a better state than you found it. BULLSHIT to you all and your two bob shadey company and its huff and puff approach to running a football club.

NOW GET OUT OF COVENTRY AND NEVER COME BACK!!!!!

You are not welcome at our football club and this will be shown to you on the opening day of the season.

Patience. But hopefully any Hoffman deal is completed by January, we might need saving in that transfer window.

T-shirts, banners, riot, but not a boycott as that effects the team

They will leave us in a better state than when they took us over. We were minutes from administration. Hopefully we will not be hours from administration before they leave.

To be fair we're not far away from when they took over (thin squad with little quality and losing money hand over fist).

People DO need to realise though that the last 3 years would have been much much worse without SISU.

100% right Dinyall - these people don't care about what supporters think about them - they are bankers based in London who probably don't even know where Coventry is. They won't even refer to us as CCFC but as SBS&L Ltd, one of many companies their various investment funds have shares in. All they see is a bad investment that they have to somehow mitigate the losses off and protests, t-shirts even boycotts will have very little effect. They are in the game of dealing in millions of pounds as is Hoff so leave it to the big boys to sort out - in Hoff we trust (as we have no other alternative). The only possible protest that might have some effect (although I doubt it as Ms Sempala appears to be a right hard hosed piece of work) would be a mass protest outside their offices in London that might get some media coverage and muddy their name and maybe embarass them with their investors but not likely to have any effect whatsoever.

Nothing but cold hard cash will remove SISU from this club. If you think otherwise, you crazy!

What we need to do is change the mide set of sisu. There is a person who HAS THE CASH but until we shift the current mind set of Sisu who MUST be red faced by the way they came in FORCED everyone to give up their shares then things wont change

As for the comment about effecting the team with a protest... WHAT F888Kin team??? The players know they ant got a chance in hell of getting through the season with injurys red cards etc without playing young boys who will get roasted .

We will be into the bottom 3 by Sep and we will stay there. WAKE UP FFS!!!

Just what is their mindset? They know they'll losing money hand over fist and they've announced multiple times they're losing money hand over fist. They will sell once the right offer comes in, and I'm pretty sure it's not £0 which Hoffman offered. They might have said the club is not for sale but it is, they've only said that to keep the ball in their court and to stop people from low balling them (Hoffman aside).

They are losing money becasue they bailed out of CCFC after the firet 3 months of taking over. DANN AND FOX were sold for money to run the club not to get it into the prem.Thats why RR quit and was only bulied into coming back by GH and JE the two men who had told us ALL the Sisu were the right people to get us up. You seem to be looking at the situation as if it was created by some other company and the rag and bone men who are the LATEST mob that Sisu have thrown into our club are some how nowt to do with the past 3 years. The SHITE that people have thrown at GR ,BR and MM yet the easy ride we are giving this shower of shit ... it takes your breath away.

Not sure if I've read your post properly (it is quite hard to TBF) but we didn't sell Dann and Fox after 3 months they were there for a full season.

I hope your a troll....for your sake!

This whole mess was created by another company - it consisted of Geoff Robinson, Bryan Richardson, Mike McGinnity, Graham Hover and Joe Elliot - they were all on the board when the disaterous decisions were made at this club. Anyone taking over would have struggled and in fact I'm not too sure many would have been interested (2 parties at the time of admin and 1 was Robinson trying to save his money, the other SISU).

I'm not saying SISU should take no blame, but they didn't sell HR for peanuts, clear land we didn't own for the Ricoh, agree a 40 odd k stadium when we struggled to fill HR etc etc etc...

Southampton lucked into a billionaire fan buy them, they owned their stadium and hadn't been in the dulldrums for close to 10 years.

Portsmouth were a relegated prem team.

Leciester didn't have anywhere near the problems we have AND suffered admin when you could get away with it.

Were you trying to make a point?

out of interest can someone who understands the accounts give us a before and after SISU takeover summary.

It's fair to say that we had more debt before from what I recall but were we losing so much a year?

SISU seem to have got us £30m in the hole in pretty quick time compared to BR / GR / MM. Surely if, and it's a big if as I don't have a clue about the accounts, that's the case then you could say that BR / GR / MM were actually doing a better job than SISU!

Most of that £30m debt is down to covering what was owed to the bank, I think when they took over they paid off the bank debt (or most of it) and agrred to give GR x pence for every £ he was owed. They have also been left in a lose/lose situation as the club now has virtually no income thanks to Robinson. To achieve what everyone seems to be demaning would take a Chelsea/Man City type owner - someone who can afford and is willing to spend all that is needed to make us successfull. We are so far behind other clubs in this league (and some of L1) with regard to income we have no chance.

May 2007 the CCFC Holdings Group had a negative balance sheet of £37.6m (gross liabilities £40m) having made losses in 2007 of £4.3m and 2006 of £3.3m

May 2010 the SB S&L Group had a negative balance sheet of £17.9m (gross liabilities £37.1m) having made losses in 2010 of £5.7m and 2009 of £8.2m. Of the £37.1m there is £24m owed to SISU

in that time we have lost 5000 off the average gate or £2m per year in revenue

if thats any help chiefdave?

that's perfect. I'd always thought, or should that be hoped, that the silver lining with SISU was that the business side of things was being sorted out and at least we're not in the mess we were with with past owners but looking now that doesn't seem to be the case. With the squad the most depleted I've ever known we seem to owe just about as much and be losing money at a faster rate, or have I missed something?

from a business persepctive, given that at least in the short term owning the ground woudn't solve anything, is it fair to say the only way we will break even is to fill the ground and / or sell off players?

what will the impact of financial fair play be to us compared to other clubs? does not owning the ground hit us there?

To be fair it's hard to compare apples to apples in terms of just a final loss figure for the year. Transfers in and out, cup runs, attendance, fluctuations in TV money, etc all come into play.

For example, correct me if I'm wrong but the 2010 figure of £5.7m is after we've made something like £4.7m in transfer fees.

But essentially you're right, we need more fans or we'll continue to sell players. It's been that way since the parachute payments stopped.

I think had the crowd numbers been maintained then the position would have been better. The fans dont like it but what the Board is doing is actually the right things from a purely business accounting point of view. They cut costs to match income.

Break even will involve getting bigger crowds and selling off players along with the cost cutting. I think this time next year there are going to be a lot of unsigned players around due to the new league rules coming in ..... that will force wages down

Not owning the ground affects us because the income from the Ricoh cannot be taken into account when calculating our salary ceiling. Other clubs will have that income. One thing the club could do (although there might be other reasons not to) is to get rid of CCFC Holdings which has approx £1.6m of its own income that could be transferred to CCFC Ltd - that would include that income in the calculation then
