If it's not with a view to us signing him permanently (which I very, very much doubt) then it's a no from me.

We need an experienced leader of a CB who can do what we need now, not someone who could be that player in a few years.

Apparently a good centre back (not watched or looked into) but unless we get Kitching sold or out, do we need another young CB?

I would say yes if he's really good with bringing the ball out as Thomas and Lati are not cut out for that. I feel he should be playing one of them and if doesn't fancy Kitching then try and get rid in Jan and bring someone like this Anselmino in to partner Thomas perhaps?

It's clear Lampard wants us to build from the back so i wouldn't be surprised if this signing happens

If it's true that we've got signings ready to come in early in the window, this could actually be on.

A centre back that can bring the ball out & actually PASS to one of our players…… not like the useless Thomas , would be a massive move forward

People on here make out like Fadz was Maldini.

He was very error prone for a long time, made very irrational fouls giving away pens, 3 own goals for us and mistake prone but did get better in his final two seasons out of the 5 seasons he was with us.

Even when he left us he couldn’t get into the Blackburn team, he was past it. He lost his place in the lineup and his age was starting to show so was allowed to go and play as opposed to sitting on our bench. It wasn’t that we didn’t ’replace him’… he was no longer in the lineup!

McFadzean is joint second in Championship history for the most own goals. He wasn’t this human rock people make him out to be. He’s scored 5 own goals in his career!

Hes a modern day Richard Dunne.

He was great in every season and a big part of the run to the league 1 title
