Third time lucky? If he can condition himself better under TM's guidance, maybe things will be better next time.

Let's face it, he won't be flooded with alternative offers.

You could as a loannee such as Stevens or Turner.

Thats far too big an iff, 32 appearances in 2 years isn't good enough, and his record over the last few years is shocking. Time to go

15/16 - 12 league games (26%)
14/15 - 20 league games (43%)
13/14 - 20 league games (43%)
12/13 - 16 league games ( 33%)
11/12 - 24 league games (52%)
10/11 - 33 league games (71%)
09/10 - 25 league games* (54%)

Looking at that only a foolish club would take him on for a third season, Sheff Wednesday made the decision to let him go due to his injury reasons and so should we.

There will be plenty of other clubs out their willing to take the punt they can keep him fit, time to let him go and move on.

Surely if you took him the budget assumption would have to be he plays every game.

It's amazing anyone still wants him here.

Although injury prone over the years Johnson's injury this time was a freak one. Can't see him costing anymore this season than last and to replace would cost a bit, so on that basis I would keep him another season, he is good player and left sided, think we only have Stokes who is a left footed defender so handy for the squad. Will Jordan Willis who I think has a lot of promise as a central defender time to establish himself and also give young Harres another year to develop too.

I agree with this, this injury is slightly different to his previous one and TM was looking after his playing time and training schedule. Worth another punt on a pay as you play deal, not a 1 contract. If someone else offers him a contract that his decision to make, and he'll be off but from a ccfc money point of view a pay as you play is the only deal. This gives us opportunities to still get a replacement.
If we could get turner then I think we could afford to let reda go, and use all the pay as you play pot on Ben turner.

And he *still* got injured.
Pressley was derided for suggesting that he doesn't know how to look after himself but it seems fairly clear to me that this was fair comment and Johnson has been unprofessional.
When club captain he ridiculed for the manager saying that the boss thought his urine was the wrong colour but proper hydration can actually help recovery and improve preparation.
You can only get so many chances and for me she's had his last one.

Anyway back to the subject topic, Martin is clearly our most improved player and quite possibly our player of the season.
