Interesting one. I had his next club much lower down that, conference footballer.
Will do well in league two under the passing game Cook will look to construct at Pompey, however, will need a battler next to him for sure.
Michael Doyle?
They aren't signing him now apparently and his replacement is Barton. Bit of a contrast in playing styles.Michael Doyle?
Exactly my thoughts, you was quick off the mark

So this maybe puts some substance behind Doyle returning to us?
Where have Portsmouth suddenly got all the money to afford the manager and half the players they've brought in?

Promised much and delivered little.
I was slightly worried that Mowbray was going to keep him on after playing him regularly towards the end of the season but good decision to let him go. We were always waiting for him to come good but frustratingly it never materialized.
I think the Crewe home game was the final nail in his coffin where he was dreadful and was booed off only to be dragged at the break.
Best of luck at Pompey string bean. Always thought he would be better off suited in an indie rock band.
Apart from Doyle to us was posted on www.footballbullshit.com by a pompey supporter.
Doyle wouldn't be that bad tbh, how many times last season did we get shit players running through our midfield without a challenge being made

Probably his last chance at a football league club, if he flops at Portsmouth that will be it for him I reckon.
I believe he broke his leg in 3 places that's some injury to get over
