Think Turner is back in with the club at the moment. Didn’t club and Telegraph have a falling out few years back? Nowadays, he has an article ready to go as soon any signing is announced. Deffo knows before we do.

Like he announced we were looking to mutually terminate Eghosa's contract a week after he'd already signed for his new club.

He'll know ahead of time on signings as he'll get an embargoed press release. Guess only by a few hours though. Anything else is just rumour anyway.

Reality here is that other than a Gimoc rumour a few months ago nobody saw this coming. Makes you wonder if it happened fast.

Andy Turner will never give us the insights that we get from Gimoc or Saddle, but that doesn't mean disregard what he says completely. I'm sure we've all be following football long enough to know that we'll only seal about 50% of the players we go for. Turner won't 'leak' any insider info as he won't want to upset the club, it is literally his whole job to report goings on in and around the club so if he gets frozen out by them he may as well join Cal and Adi at the Job Centre.

Andy Turner gets the press release a couple of hours before the club post it official - he knows no more than anybody else - why would the club tell him?!

Shame he’d be good option in middle with bit of grit and experience . Need some masters of the dark arts as we still feel bit nicey nicey

I think Rudoni signing put an end to this one. Browne best position is an attacking 8 by all accounts, wouldn’t get the best out of him in the 2 of a 4231

Just feel if it was going to happen it would have by now

He's met MR, seen Ryton etc not long after the season finished. If he was coming I'd have assumed he would have by now is all

I agree, but maybe we’re waiting to see if an offer comes in for Sheaf? Then we would need someone better than Browne? Not sure, just wondering if that’s a possible explanation?

Think you’re right and the point about waiting for Sheff Utd makes the most sense to me (albeit I take the O’Hare point but think he’s weighing up options).

Think he would have been great competition in that 8/double pivot role.
