GREEK billionaire Alki David has dropped his interest in a Coventry City takeover.
Ray Ranson's Sisu Capital Consortium's bid for the club and the Ricoh Arena has been on the table for weeks.
But, on Monday, the Greek billionaire Alki David entered the fray.
Sky Blues confirmed last night that director and major shareholder Geoffrey Robinson met Mr David yesterday (Tuesday).
However the talks came to nothing, it has been confirmed.
Mr David claimed: "After looking through the finances and seeing the numbers, the club is falling apart.
"The debt does not tally.
"Good luck to whoever takes them on. I am certainly not getting involved.
"I had Geoffrey Robinson here this afternoon when I was ready to commit.
"He left me a document on the finances of the club.

:thinking about:

SISU, according to themselves, didn't have time to look at the books properly so it's not their fault.

Didn't take the Greek long to realise we were a financial car crash.

Who'd have thought it; a Greek realising something would get them into financial trouble and opting against it! ;)

It seems SISU have a Greek mentality to contracts.
