Come off Facebook has the statement been shared on there or just the tweets etcPretty well received on the Facebook forum.
Although I am loathe to often look at that site.
Anyone know the bellend James Bimbi? He seems to slag off anyone not frothing to burn Sisu at the stake, or anyone who is anti Wasps/CCC/Cov Telegraph.
Trust twitter account now getting involved with this, the only thing ever tweeted against Wasps. It's a masterpiece...lol..

Not sure, but fairly sure that there were a number of screens that were broadcast outside the Ricoh... this one during the night, then, fairly sure a different one in the day during the Wasps game which did not say anything detrimental to Wasps...Wasn't this an idea that was taken off here anyway.
The ONLY shot of this is this blurred "middle of the night" shot!!!They never answered how many times it was on....
They just hide behind random things like that and then seem to think that's Wasps bang to rights.
No mention of them applauding them.
I think it'll go to SISU must do something impossible to make the indemnity go awayGoing for a salty award too?
Thanks to the statement, we’ve finally forced the Trust to acknowledge the indemnity. It’s out there now, we have a voice. Time will tell where it goes from here.
Got to admit this has had a much bigger impact than I hoped it would.
If nothing else its got the indemnity in the media and a CWR presenter to say Wasps kicked us out.
Need to keep the spotlight on the indemnity as that is the key thing at the moment. Neil from the trust is now trying to make out its not hat important as we can't be certain if it was removed we'd come back - clutching at straws to say the least!
Me too. Think Simon said wasps kicked us out. Also I’m pretty happy that we can’t control sisu’s response to a move by wasps but and it’s big our statement has had more of an impact than the trust one. I think we push and see if national media take it on and wait for a response from wasps and Sisu. Ccfc will probably comment in Saturdays programme in some wayGot to admit this has had a much bigger impact than I hoped it would.

How can he pretend he has no idea? "IF" that is true.
It is true, it's on video!
David Johnson who was heavily involved in that has recently joined the Trust board, doesn't really back up his point.
Phil Upton is stirring up the bit about the trust.
"Are you saying they aren't the voice of sky blue fans?"
He's completely missed the point hasn't he?
One thing you can be sure, if you give a chance, the message you want giving won't be the one received. The message is indemnity clause, indemnity clause, indemnity clause, with a spot of god we may not exist, don't dilute that with sentences about the Trust. That's an easy headline to take and the story becomes about fan rivalry when it's actually about unity.
I accept that nobody likes a smart-arse but...

tbh you can get airtime for pretty much anything on CWR!I doubt it would have got any airtime without the trust reference as that created a news item from the BBC perspective

I noticed that too - but him and Upimself didn't like me mentioning it! "Discussion", my arse!Gilbert got it out on and in his intro after which he vanished he made claim that the indemnity issue is unclear despite him knowing statements have been made on it that show it is an issue. CWR have already stated the wasps and trust “drop the legals” line.
Ah it was you on twitter. Simon and phil were very complementary in what they said about how I stuck to our key points. I hate listening to myself but I thought challenging the incendiary nature was importantI noticed that too - but him and Upimself didn't like me mentioning it! "Discussion", my arse!
To be honest it's been mostly you, since the phone in the other week.Ah it was you on twitter. Simon and phil were very complementary in what they said about how I stuck to our key points. I hate listening to myself but I thought challenging the incendiary nature was important
as was the indemnity, no legals, get back to coventry, Mark robins and team deserve more support and stop misleading people were all key points.
Also thanks to shmmee and northern wisdom and others I was able to acknowledge the great work the trust have done and that they have now been clearer about the indemnity and holding wasps to account. I think there is an opportunity here much like the March to listen and react and do something meaningful that most if not all supporters will be proud of
feel a bit proud of this forum on what has been achieved through this. But it can’t be left and if wasps and Sisu think we don’t want to see some action from the statement then we need to remind them that we aren’t going away
Not at the games. Not at our games at least. If you want to protest then do it a Wasps game that wont affect the team.Thinking ahead...what's the next steps?
Is there anything else planned pre or around the FA Cup game this weekend? Seems like an opportune moment to continue the efforts.
Pete - you seem to be the spearhead of this, much in the same way as MMJ spearheaded the ST scheme. Could there plans for you (and maybe others) to sit down with the Trust and other parties? I suspect you're doing all this for no personal reward and it eats into your personal time so don't feel pressured into doing everything.
Just feel that as this has had a seemingly positive (and maybe larger than we expected) impact, then we should come up with a plan of action or next steps. I don't live locally so am unlikely to attend meetings etc but can help with planning, communication etc.
I was thinking that when phil upton said our statement was incendiary.Do we go nuclear and discuss them kicking out the disabled basketball team in Stratford?
I think it's a fair point to raise if needed.Do we go nuclear and discuss them kicking out the disabled basketball team in Stratford?
Said a long time ago the trust should hammer that angle. The EC investigation will run its course no matter what else happens so what benefit is there for CCFC, Wasps or indeed the local economy for Wasps to continue to refuse us a deal at the Ricoh? What gets me is that everyone benefits ccfc playing at the Ricoh how does that not compute
