He’s still our representative on the FSA

Yeah, I know that. It's confusing how they let that happen. That aside, there should still be a vacancy on the trust board, I've not seen any replacement announced.

The wording of that clause is pretty odd isn’t it? Everyone has to raise exactly the same motion (which yes can be done) and then the board arrange a special meeting.

There’s nothing that requires them to put that date on a communication platform either from what I can see

The only thing I can remember (and it was only a quick scan) was that all members need to be informed of meetings two weeks before the meeting I think.

Just a few points and these come from someone that signed up more people for the Trust than anyone else.
1. Why have the Trust not asked for additional subscriptions after the original £1.00 to join?
2. How many of the “membership” would pay even £1.00 now for continued membership?
3. How many meetings whether you agree with the formats or not of meetings have been held since the move to Birmingham?
4. Why do you think the Trust will not criticise CCC or Wasps?
Just a few questions I have more but enough to be getting on with. I have my answers which are
1 Because they would be embarrassed
with the number
2 probably not more than 100
3 Don’t think there has been 1
4 They think they can have some sort of influence I we go back to the Ricoh and SISU go.
The Trust can only be credible if they stick with the number originally claimed.
The Trust at one time did speak for me, unfortunately no longer.
I would agree with this.

Can there be two Club Supporter Groups on the FSA?

Still think we'd be better off moving the existing trust in the right direction. That may mean changes of board members as some are maybe too entrenched. Don't necessarily need a complete change to enforce a change of direction. Key things are opening up meetings and voting into something in keeping with 2020. Key to the trust should also be reopening lines of communication with the club.

We don't want to get into a Judean People's Front / People's Front of Judea situation.

I do fear the club wont ever engage with the trust under these owners as the bridges have been burned

They said there were 6 vacancies & 6 valid nominations.
After it was repeatedly pointed out to them about the questionable characters of Ellis & Kalns neither is ultimately on the board (apparently).

Therefore there should be 2 vacancies still.

Good point.

You only need to be a member of a Trust to represent that Trust, not a board member (though I suspect that's not the norm)

Neil or the Trust won't reply to my question about whether Mr Ellis is still a member of the Trust.

With his background, I certainly don't want him representing my club at the FSA.

I'm sure he'll still be a member of the Trust, and I don't think he could have his membership removed.

I’m sure his role is unchanged

I think they would if different personnel were involved.

Vacant board positions outside an AGM are appointed by recommendation of other board members. That’s how Kakns rocked up in the first place

I messaged the FSA about it and didn't receive a reply

Neil has stated that in the interviews given this week the interviewer only wanted to know about the atmosphere at St Andrews so it was not appropriate to mention the indemnity

The relevant bit would be what’s needed to be a Supporters Trust. That’s the bit I’m fairly sure you can only have one of. And only Trusts can be affiliates from my reading of thag.

Why cannot you be a "Supporters Group" ?
Just asking

They aren’t treated the same. Saw something about five votes per affiliate and one per associate or something.

Isnt that just for voting on the FSA issues?

Does it imply a CCFC Supporters Group can be a member ( in some form ) and speak
What are the advantages of being in the FSA - have we seen or been told of any?

Resigned from the board, not resigned membership. A lot of us are members, he's no different.

Are you really that dumb?

We should only need one. Again, we don't need multiple factions, we just need change within the current trust and there are some fairly simple things that could be done to change it.

There's no evidence of him still being on the board. I'm not one for conspiracy theories.

Now, if you are asking if he still has influence, that's a different question. Its entirely possible he could have influence as one of what I assume is a handful of people who attend trust meetings.

Fair enough. Still, there's no evidence he's still on the board. Undoubtedly he'll know many of the current board members. I don't know if he still communicates with them or undertakes any activities. We're all just guessing.
