Beat me to it!Indeed.
Imagine how much of a bellend you'd have to be to relentlessly slag him off for years.
Oh.
Beat me to it!
He's a limited player but does a job when he's on his game. some games he's completely out the game others he's doing an alright job. Rarely would I say he's MOTM and if we want to improve he'd be on my list. He has popped up in some good places to score this year which feels a new string to his bow so fair play.
Finally managed to watch the highlights from today, kept calm to score his goal but first touch was dire, that's the type of stuff that gets cleared out against better opponents in my opinion. That's why I see him as limited, he definitely won't be rocking in to the prem any time soon.Pretty good summary I'd say
An, but if the first touch had been perfect, the defender would have anticipated that and got a tackle in. it was the mis-control that fooled him….Finally managed to watch the highlights from today, kept calm to score his goal but first touch was dire, that's the type of stuff that gets cleared out against better opponents in my opinion. Orrrr he'd have had more space and missed itAn, but if the first touch had been perfect, the defender would have anticipated that and got a tackle in. it was the mis-control that fooled him….
Jeez you have bashed him more than anyone his first few years with us.I think actually on here he’s been slagged off by a lot of people - no technique, shit, a dwarf, adds nothing to the team - even against West Brom when he created our best chances they aren’t anything to do with him
It’s been relentless. He doesn’t divide opinion it’s all pretty much one way
second top scorer isn’t he?
Like in Sensible World of Soccer when your awful first touch totally fools the opposition AI.An, but if the first touch had been perfect, the defender would have anticipated that and got a tackle in. it was the mis-control that fooled him….

Ha ha, looks like one to me.not exactly a gotcha moment given i admitted he’s been a revelation this season and I’d been one of his biggest critics - which oddly references the thread title?
Will you now hold your hands up and admit he’s vital to the team and one of the first names on the team sheet?
To be fair Robins really has no other choice than to play him because he does do a good job pressing, well good is a bit strong , his energy levels are to be admired, its just that he cannot tackle and our play consistently breaks down when he is involved although on some occasions he is actually involved in some nice one touch football. His first touch isn't very good , look at yesterdays goal although it probably worked in his favour and confused their defence but he was in the right place and scored so credit to him for that and he does chase back to try and help the defence out, I would think on the occasions he gets up and supports Vik on one of his runs, Vik looks up and sees liitle Jamie and thinks fuck it may as well go alone....although thats not confirmed.not exactly a gotcha moment given i admitted he’s been a revelation this season and I’d been one of his biggest critics - which oddly references the thread title?

Going to watch Messi/Neymar/Mbappe today. I’ll drop in a note that they’re missing Allen from the line up.
Second highest scorer behind Gyo in a team that isn’t exactly prolific. Fair play
