Absolutely this.....in my view I'd keep him at the club and only move him on if we ever got promoted. He always contributes one way or another each season and from outside looking in seems a great professional too
Allen's clearly no world beater but he does what he does really well and consistently.
Progressive with the ball, creative, good vision, battles and covers well.
His return to the team is a refreshing change from the robotic midfield play we've experienced.
I agree but more importantly it means we aren't rushing Sheaf back unfit again. Hopefully we can get Sheaf firing on all cylinders once he does return.
I have never really been an Allen fan he always ran around like a lost puppy dog but since he has been in central midfield for the past 3 games he has been pretty damn good, last night he was shithousing and winning headers, haven't missed Sheaf at all so far long may it continue
