Talking to a fellow fan in the pub on Saturday night about were we going to stay up or go down ?
I said I hope we avoid the drop but he reckoned we'd go down, and was in fact looking at away grounds in League Two already. He was looking forward to going to Luton if they go up,Mansfield as he has relations there, and one or two others too.It spooked me out as he was so upbeat. And when he said he hoped Nuneaton go up as well that was enough for me so I finished my pint and went !

Had a similar conversation along the lines that Nuneaton go up use the Ricoh as their home stadium and we get relegated and play our away game with them at the Ricoh!! Fanastic! sorry if it has been covered before but it would be almost as if it had been pre-ordained. It would at least make a real laughing stock of the Football League perhaps they could give us our 10 points back so that it doesn't happen :claping hands:

We're going to need to actually win some matches to avoid relegation, and with the defence leaking soft goals like a sieve that looks increasingly unlikely. I think bbrattles' fellow fan is merely being pragmatic and facing the reality of the situation.

Got some reasonable away days next season again so I'd look forward to that as some consolation.

Like a bloke said to me on Saturday "As long as there is a Coventry City I'll still go"

Off to Crewe Saturday, then that's it for the season. If we are relegated and still in Northants don't expect to go to any games next season. Its clear we have further to fall under SISU and enjoy watching good players playing for my team and next year expect the youth team to be playing with Wilson Christie Moussa Murphy Baker - all gone with short loan terms like Dagnall Petroussu McGuire coming in for a few games use CCFC to reignite their careers then heading off into the sunset whilst we scratch around for players again.

Away crowds and home crowds will be smaller than this season, I'm jumping off the sky blue express and hope to rejoin when it stops falling.

That's what happens when you're a fan you get down, but come a new season your back in there again. But looking at the teams we could play if it does go pear shaped, I can't see much to get the Sky Blue Army excited.

lets be honest the thought of League two fills us with dread.I emailed Jim Brown asking him when did we play in the 4th tier of football ? he replied saying 1958 !

If tonights results stay the same and Stevenage beat us we will only be 2 points out of the bottom 4. Relegation is looking more likely after each game.

How would they afford the inflated rent?
