I accept the principle works to a point. To many though it is like suggesting "Let's all go for a meal at Bazza's. It's a nice place but not very popular £30/head...it's only pre-packed microwave food & cheap Tesco wine but the more of us that eat there the more he will have to invest in the food choice & quality..."How about instead of everyone staying away everyone attends the games and we get 16000 every week or so.
Would that not show our potential fan base off to possible new owners?
The owner has to lead the way. Selling the crown jewels at the earliest opportunity & shitting on their customers from a great height is hardly endearing stuff.
Give us a product we want & appreciate & we will come. They're so committed to running the club as a business to make money - so as consumers we are perfectly entitled to say "I ain't paying to watch this shit anymore"
