It’s not acceptable for gangs of Jews to go around Palestine killing innocent bystander Muslims including children, either.

Israeli thugs attacked a taxi driver, defaced flags and disrespected a minutes silence. Hardly surprising they got some retribution. They then hide behind the “but we are Jewish and Germany did horrific, despicable things to us 80 years ago”.

You're missing the point.

I don't think anyone has said that behaviour is ok here either. There's two things going on here.

What a mess.

The Jewish people have always been subjugated and had to face hate, but the Israeli government's actions at the moment are merely causing more and more hate.

I think we are going backwards instead of forwards.

It's awful what Israel went through with that horrendous attack on innocent civilians, but now innocent Palestinians are getting hurt and killed on a daily basis too and it's so disproportionate, all it's doing is causing so much more hatred of Jews.

It's a madness.

It's a hatred of what the Israeli state is doing in Gaza.

My honest opinion is that Israel needs to be treated in the same way that South Africa was under apartheid, with a vigorous and thorough sanctions regime.

If our government won't do it, then we as individuals should, and the people running our sporting, cultural, and academic institutions should make their feelings known too.

No Israeli team should be playing in Europe until the genocide in Gaza, for that is what it is, stops.

No cultural exchanges, no academic exchanges, no sporting events. Enough.

A sanctions regime is exactly what I was thinking should be applied. It will never happen because of the influence and power that Jewish organisations have in western democracies and the fear governments have of being labelled fascists.

More riots in Amsterdam last night. Can't exactly blame anyone but themselves this time.

Like I've been saying, there's two things going on. The gangs of Muslims causing trouble is existing regardless of any external influence to blame.

Were the Israeli fans chanting anti Palestinian songs as were reported? If so then no sympathy. If not no sympathy and prison for those attacking them. 100% Israel should be banned/sanctioned from all sports and other entertainment, business etc. to get normal Israeli people to challenge their government on barbaric war crime behavior. Likewise Russia, Hungary, China, , North Korea and Iran, Iraq, Lebanon if they continue to attack/invade kill women and children in Israel. I would look at sanctioning India, Pakistan, Sri LAnka from cricket as they continue their silly pettiness with each other and neighbours. Sport is immensely powerful and puts government under huge pressure if they are banned or people/players/iorganisations make a point. Same with UAE/Qatar/Saudi Arabia for views on women and LGBTQ rights. Shame Western politicians, FIFA, UEFA, IOC, R&A and ICC wont even try and challenge this stuff. Would work very quickly as Amnesty International and Children's Charities have pointed out numerous times.

Mexico especially and maybe Canada will be nervous about Trump's antics too with World Cup on horizon in 18months..... but I bet Trump doesn't even know or care they are hosting.

I agree with all that, we could then have fewer disruptive international breaks as a happy byproduct.
